I agree TC. I do believe that Perry is well-liked in Texas. But he has attempted to take his dog & pony show national and it’s just not selling.
He can forget my vote in the 2014 guberatorial contest now.
Perry is well liked by some in Texas, but a lot of us have worked Damn hard to defeat the TTC mess, reign in the costly pandering to illegals that brings in most of our crime, and keep him from making various crony capitalism deals of which Gardasil was only one.
We are tired of him, but since the executive branch is split in power between the governor and the lieutenant governor (who runs on a separate ticket) it is harder to attract a decent candidate than one might think.
