actually, what someone needs to do is get a permit now to use it... then force the police to clear the area so they can have their permitted function :)

No binding law for communists and the mentally ill. Who would they bill anyway? Soros? ACORN? Richmond is scared stiff to caused anything for fear that the communists would rip Richmond apart.

Every Tea Party group should do similar lawsuits.

let me see if i have this right
a government agency demanded money from a group protesting big government and the taxation that pays for big government, life time pensions, corruption, and government salaries
then, the same government did not demand payment from a group that was pushing for bigger government, higher taxation, and more worker pensions
and you’re surprised? or just shocked at the blatant corruption?

Whatever the Richmond fee/tax was to protest during the Tea Party rallies per day should be applied to the Occu-Pies - or the government should give back the money to the Tea Party Group.
One or the Other - can’t have it both ways
But, if there’s is NO need, really, for a permit - then it’s free Tea Party rallies (that will help tremendously)

Richmond is wrong giving a PASS to liberal for their protest while charging conservatives. The city should be sued for the insult...
