After weeks (months?) of bad debate reviews, plunging poll numbers, and Herman Cain sucking up all the oxygen in the GOP race, weve noticed Rick Perry has managed to seize the spotlight - and to some extent drive the news cycle - over the past several days.
So far this week, Perry has:
* Drawn attention for seeming to revive the Obama birther controversy in interviews...
* Released a 20-20 tax plan, calling for an optional 20 percent flat tax on income and a 20 percent corporate tax..
* Hired a slew of new advisors with deep experience in presidential campaigns.
* Launched his first TV ads in Iowa - with a positive ad touting his jobs record in Texas.
* Landed some actual hits on Mitt Romney..
....And Perry will get more even exposure this Sunday, when he will appear for the full hour on Fox News Sunday - making his Sunday show debut, and his longest TV interview to date.

Where can they get snappy outfits like this?
No. He should let them talk for the full 4 hours. Give people a good look. I wonder if they'll take it on the road?
That image sums it up well....all that is missing is Pitchfork Pat !
Thanks...didn’t know that..kind of surprising..it would seem like a good opportunity..a good forum for him...did they say why ?
What kind of dog is that on Mrs. Huckabee’s lap?
La Raza Rick is at 10.5% RCP polling average.
He was at 11.4% yesterday.
That's down nearly a full point in just one day.
That's some comeback. lol!
Question: if Perry's NOT able to make it all the way back to the top, do you see him as willing to take the VP slot?
I can hear your nervous laughter and see that you feel the need to ping your gang to back you up.
Dinner
It is funny how they all show up on cue, kinda like a Code Pink flash mob.
I don’t see it but that’s not my call.
I don’t know the why. Only that both Perry and Romney turned down an offer from the tea party group putting it on.
...kinda like a Code Pink flash mob.
They may rent out, you never know...
The lower your hero goes in the polls the less sense you make.
And you know I don't need anyone to back me up. I ping other conservatives to Perry threads just the same as you and shield ping other liberals.
How long until La Raza Rick is in single digits in the averages? Today? Tomorrow? lol!
LOL! box lunch and a bus ride.
I’m no liberal and I support Perry.
Your name calling of Perry is childish.
How is the 20% flat tax twice as much as the 999 plan? Mr. Cain's plan taxes 9% of your income and 9% of what you spend. It wouldn't be too difficult to get popped enough on the sale tax side to make the total taxes equal 20% of my income.
Then I suppose you would agree that post#14 was 'childish' also, right?
My name calling is based in fact. If you don't like seeing conservatives calling your hero La Raza Rick perhaps you should write him and ask that he stop pandering to racist organizations like La Raza.
They can’t and will not ask Ricarrdo to stop. Why would they? They also agree with La Raza’s destructive anti American positions. Supporting Perry/La Raza is supporting the continued ILLEGAL criminal invasion of this Nation.
