But which company would you rather own stock in? I’ve made very little from Microsoft, made a lot from Apple.

You have to be kidding.

The asshole on the left achieved much better results from his efforts than did the asshole on the right. Jobs owns Gates in every way imaginable.

Bill Gates is not the saint you make him out to be. Steve Jobs is not the sinner you want him to be. Give it a rest, wish them well and watch what you want to.

Bill Gates' idea of "charity" is Planned Parenthood international.

And that doesn't even begin to scratch the surface of his "character."

Yeah. Take a look at the wonderful "charitable causes" Bill Gates and his wife have donated to. That will be sure to warm the heart of any conservative.

But hey. Ol' Bill means well, right?

"...The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, with assets of $29 billion as of 2005, has focused on the “population” side of the “problem” in the past, sending billions of dollars in grants to such pro-abortion groups as Planned Parenthood; Population Action International, Population Services International, the Alan Guttmacher Institute, and the Population Resource Center. Gates has also financed such organizations as the [Soros supported] Tides Center, the Tides Foundation, the National Council of La Raza, and has supported a gun control initiative in Washington state..."

Most liberals just love to hear what a "bright and shining example of humanity" Bill Gates is because of the billions of dollars he has donated. Most liberals don't have the wherewithal, energy or mental acuity to scratch below the surface on ANY issue, but if they did on this issue, they would get on their liberal knees and sing hosannas to Bill and Melinda Gates.

But the hate of Steve Jobs by some people, including many conservatives, trumps all. Personally, I wish Bill Gates had BURNED his damned bloody money instead of doing the heavy living for the like of the Tides Foundation, La Raza and the like.

But hey. Bill Gates is a good guy doing the work that Obama and his ilk just can't accomplish because selfish, lousy conservatives in and out of government are in the way of Uncle Sam having an open checkbook. Bill can just GIVE all his money to causes we absolutely detest, and we just love him for that, don't we?

I just wonder how much of those lovely billions of dollars donated by that "bright and shining example of humanity" ended up allowing this display of "bright and shining humanity" that I ran into during one of the counter-protests I participated in down in Washington?

I always wondered...who paid the money to allow the closure of the Memorial Bridge across the Potomac to Arlington National Cemetery (where this picture was taken)? Who paid for the porta-potties the liberals set up? Who paid for the busses to bring this liberal scum to protest outside Arlington? Who paid for the signs they carried?

I wonder...who? Who paid for all that? Hmm. What "bright and shining example of humanity" made all that possible? I am sure it all came from $5 donations in cans from mom's and pop's in front of supermarkets all across America, right?

Right?

Nothing personal here, Skydancer, and I mean that. I have read many of your posts over the years, and have found them to be thoughtful and agreeable to my conservative side. But this isn't one of them. That Steve Jobs was a wretch of a human in many aspects of his life and raised arrogance to an art form is a debatable point that you can make and win.

But please find some other example as a contrast to Steve Jobs, because I don't accept Bill and Melinda Gates as the appropriate contrast.
