No one cares who’s meddling in your life. We’re working on JOBS here. Not manufactured complaints, tall stretches and phantom concerns about Anita Perry, who has earned her critics. Why? Because she is a mover and a shaker who gets things done in her own right. People like that get draw fire from the whiners who only wish.

Goverment, including congress, the President, state legislatures, governors, etc. do not create jobs. At best they can create an environment condusive to the expansion of the business community. They best way for them to do that is to decrease taxes, and reduce onerous regulation.
The best that can be said about any government offical, including Perry, is that they didn’t get in the way of economic growth......
Given that Texas has a part time state legislature, with a limited powers governor, it is small wonder that Texas is doing better than most states..... state law prevents the pols from mucking things up......
Praise for the Texas economy rightfully goes to the Texas business community.
