What happened to Caroline Kennedy? I thought she wanted to be the next politician crowned by the NY Dem establishment.
I think expected to to be automagically be crowned to the ruling class because of her last name.
Don’t recall exactly what happened, don’t think she ever got momentum outside of NYC. Vaugely recall her getting grief about not knowing anything about Western NY (like that Buffalo, Rochester, and Syracuse are actually a part of the State).
Well..you know...she tried to run for...you know... the senate. But...you know...she didn't...you know...do very well and...you know...she decided that maybe...you know...it wasn't really for her. So...you know...she dropped out.
