I think it's very important for him to at least do well in this coming debate with Newt. He doesn't have to win, he just has to show he has a decent understanding of why conservative policies are right in all the important areas. A strong growing and free economy, a strong morality (social issues), and a strong foreign policy with America as leader of the free world. That's the Reagan three legged stool.

If he does that, he will continue rising in the polls, otherwise it will be a dog fight until the end, with the awful consequence of a possible Romney nomination.

The debate with Gingrich is going to be a Lincoln-Stephens format debate...in other words, friendly and expansive.

Cain, being a successful conservative radio talk show host, should perform well. And of course, Gingrich can talk for hours.

I certainly don't expect Cain to win this debate, if he can hold his own against Newt, he'll be doing very well.

Hoping for the best. It takes guts to debate Newt, will be a nail biter.
