(10-25) 04:48 PDT OAKLAND -- Oakland police are arriving this morning in force, apparently preparing to remove hundreds of people from a plaza outside City Hall, two weeks after the protesters began building an intricate encampment as part of the Occupy Wall Street movement against corporate greed and economic inequality.
Officers in riot helmets began arriving at Frank Ogawa Plaza at the corner of 14th Street and Broadway at 4:45 a.m. and formed a line in the street adjacent to the plaza. Some protesters began shouting, "Cops, go home!"

"Unless we're raped or robbed or something!"
Popcorn for breakfast... Mmmmmmmmm........
They are not calling the police “pigs”...yet
Cops beating up hippies! These are a few of my favorite things...
Maybe they will send in the BART tac squad...that would surely get things going and require a second helping of popcorn.
Did they bring teargas and water cannons? If not, why not?

NBC Bay Area is showing a live raid of Occupy Oakland. The police surrounded the group and first let the protestors leave peacefully, but then they went in and started arresting people.
The news is saying the occupation of Oakland is over.
Raindrops on hippes named dewdrop and kitten
Freezing cold weather with nary a mitten
Knocking down tent camps and cutting their strings
These are a few of my favorite things!
Cops with their billyclubs swing for the fences
While leaders argue bout things like verb tenses
White plastic handcuffs that bind up their wings
These are a few of my favorite things!
When the drums beat
When the park stinks
When Im feeling mad
I simply remember my favorite things
And then I dont feel so bad!
This has been a nightmare, said Brian Summers, who lives near Zuccotti Park.
Summers said those trying to force corporations to become better corporate citizens should learn to be better citizens themselves.
It makes us feel horrible. We work down here, we live down here, said Summers.
Drums are played each and every day. The noise registers as 117 on a decibel meter.
According to the federal government, regular exposure to 110 decibels can lead to permanent hearing loss.
From blocks away, it might not be physically harmful, but neighbors say it's damaging lives.
We support the message, and a lot of residents do, but they also want to have a good night sleep, said Manhattan City Councilmember Margaret Chin.
Local officials have been swamped with neighborhood complaints.
That's why they invited protesters to hear them firsthand at a Community Board 1 meeting Thursday.
Besides the noise problem, residents say protesters are pouring urine in the streets.
Our neighbors do not urinate and defecate in the street. These occupiers need to vacate our neighborhood, said one resident.

I believe Nancy Pelosi has a word to say about that:

Given the need to sanitize any area held by these groups, I think the areas should be cleaned up with flame throwers.

I’ve seen that term used countless times in their articals, never once with quotation marks around it or with “so called” preceding it.
Now to fumigate.
And soap. Lots and lots of soap.
I would think HazMat Suits would be a higher priority???
