That is a photo of myself and Andrew Wilkow, host of the Wilkow Majority on the Sirius XM Patriot channel, standing outside of Zuccotti Park. He was there this weekend co-hosting a live remote with David Webb, seen below, at the scene of Occupy Wall Street.

Are we really supposed to take these misfits seriously?
Carnivalesque atmosphere? I think when you’ve got clown noses wandering around, you’re a USDA certified carnival.

Love Wilkow....we’re right they’re wrong end of story!
equal opportunity offender :p
‘Are we really supposed to take these misfits seriously?’
No.
My money is on things turning ugly by Thursday.
Pepper gas/tasing and arrests unless the authorities decide to wait until the weather turns.
There is now a hardcore criminal element hiding out among them and there’s no getting around the public safety-sanitation threats.
This has been a nightmare, said Brian Summers, who lives near Zuccotti Park.
Summers said those trying to force corporations to become better corporate citizens should learn to be better citizens themselves.
It makes us feel horrible. We work down here, we live down here, said Summers.
Drums are played each and every day. The noise registers as 117 on a decibel meter.
According to the federal government, regular exposure to 110 decibels can lead to permanent hearing loss.
From blocks away, it might not be physically harmful, but neighbors say it's damaging lives.
We support the message, and a lot of residents do, but they also want to have a good night sleep, said Manhattan City Councilmember Margaret Chin.
Local officials have been swamped with neighborhood complaints.
That's why they invited protesters to hear them firsthand at a Community Board 1 meeting Thursday.
Besides the noise problem, residents say protesters are pouring urine in the streets.
Our neighbors do not urinate and defecate in the street. These occupiers need to vacate our neighborhood, said one resident.

Driving each other deaf. How do they stand each other. Yuck.
Does anyone know how many of the protesters are actually Americans? I have read a few articles quoting or mentioning people from other nations, not American citizens, (such as Canada, Tunisia). It would be interesting to know who is actually protesting and claiming to be the “99%”.
And they are just as radical as the pics in my photo essay portray, for the most part.
I like what I hear about the homeless and street vagrants melding into this group, watching rapes, stabbing and robbing happening among their collective seems like Karma.
As the weather closes in these people will become more prey for the truly vile who roam the streets of New York.
Should make good TV!
Thanks! I caught a few minutes of Wilkow’s show on Friday, and I heard him saying he would be at the “demonstration” on the weekend. Bet it was fun, in a “captured by aliens” sorta way.
Interesting article, thanks!

We had the XM on while doing yardwork and heard most of it. Webb spoke a LOT more than Wilkow (just spell my name right!) but lots of “there” there. They spoke with an actual sane sounding guy from the protest. Didn’t get attacked or anything like that according to Andrew.
I forget to turn on the radio on the weekends because it’s often not new programming.
Other broadcasters and writers have mentioned running into people who appear to make sense ... but it seems to me they wouldn’t be at this event if they weren’t bats, behind the facade. Nobody at a Tea Party rally or at a Sarah Palin appearance is dressed as a clown beating a drum, handing out Communist propaganda in Spanish, or failing to use the appropriate sanitary facilities.
