Who can say "gay" isn't okay in New Jersey? Judging by Gov. Chris Christie's actions, teachers can't.
Christie told CNN's Piers Morgan on June 15 that he doesn't think homosexuality is a sin even though his religion does. To be sure that the citizens of New Jersey are aware of Christie's beliefs, the interview and transcript are posted on the official New Jersey website. Okay, that's his opinion. But read on.
New Jersey high school teacher Viki Knox may have been inspired by Christie's comments to think that it was okay for a New Jersey public employee to express an opinion about homosexuality, as if the First Amendment is alive and well in New Jersey.
Knox believes that homosexuality is a sin. She posted her belief -- not on an official school web site, but on her personal Facebook page. The Union High School District is investigating Knox to determine if she violated school policies.
If Knox's First Amendment rights aren't shed at the schoolhouse gate, as the U.S. Supreme Court held in Tinker v. Des Moines Independent Community School Dist., surely her rights aren't shed at the gate of her house:
First Amendment rights, applied in light of the special characteristics of the school environment, are available to teachers and students. It can hardly be argued that either students or teachers shed their constitutional rights to freedom of speech or expression at the schoolhouse gate.
According to Jeanette Rundquist and Peggy McGlone writing for the New Jersey Star-Ledger on Oct. 18:
Knox, 49, used her Facebook page to criticize a display in her Union Township school marking Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender History Month. She called homosexuality a "perverted spirit" and a "sin" that "breeds like cancer."
Christie could have seized the chance to shed his reputation...

She called homosexuality a “perverted spirit” and a “sin” that “breeds like cancer.”
She’s just wrong, it’s a sin that, thankfully, doesn’t breed at all.

Thanks to modern science, it does.

"I think that kind of example is not a positive one at all to be setting for folks who have such an important and influential position in our society. I'm really concerned about those kinds of statements being made." (Gov. Christie)Christie thinks Knox's comments justify investigating her conduct in the classroom. His comments jeopardize Knox's due process rights to a fair and impartial hearing.
Christie's comments are an example of the kind of reckless disregard for civil rights and the rule of law that should be immediate cause for removal from office. It is also an example of why the GOP has lost its way and is no longer fit to represent the American people.
I believe she means that as a metaphor, of course. They have to recruit, not literally breed. But they have the recruiting process down virtually to a science.
“Hey, go sleep with my maid” is hardly modern science
Christie is a big RINO.
“Reasonable” people would find some way of letting the two groups debate without destroying public function. It’s generally the gays who want to, ahem, ACT-UP if such a thing is proposed. It’s hard to conclude anything other than that the glamorization of gayness is just one huge whitewash job. That it breeds misery just like smoking yourself to death does.
No, but invetrofertilization is.
The person said what they wanted to say.
That is 'freedom of speech'.
Everything good after that is gravy. Everything bad, is feathers.

That makes it technically a little easier, as the parents never have to meet. But it’s not a true replacement for the bible-old process, because it still needs a surrogate womb. Not yet anyhow. And the two-daddy families are still in the same pickle.
The gayness of gayness is a surface phenomenon.

The homosexual agenda - "Whatever is not Mandatory is Prohibited". Must say nice goody goody talk about faggotry, no saying mean talk about perverts - even on private time!! no no no. No wonder Coulter likes Christie. The goal of the homo agenda is absolute tyranny over everyone - freedom of speech, thought, religion, association - destroyed. That's what they want. Dictatorship of the Sodomites.
And yet the upper echelons of the GOP look at him as a rising star. They're all butthurt that he didn't run for president.
That’s why they had to usurp the previously benign word “gay” because they sure as hell were not.
So why does one belong to a religion they don’t agree with? Christie is getting so much wrong. He needs to have a “D” after his name and get rid of the “R”.
Are turkey basters all that modern?
