While former Godfathers Pizza CEO Herman Cains poll numbers have been sky-high in recent weeks, the honeymoon may soon be over for him, says Fox News senior political analyst Brit Hume.
The abortion blunder was inexplicable, Hume continued. It doesnt walk it back when you say it ought to be the persons choice but it is also illegal. Im sorry that doesnt help. I suspect Herman Cain may have peaked and may begin to decline.

I see even Brit Hume hasn’t read the entire transcript of that interview.
According to you Brit?
Another Fox shill for Romney.
Romney peaked in 2007, but FoxNews didn’t get the memo.
It looks like it’s Herman Cain’s week to get clobbered with the rubber chickens. What a joke and fiasco this election is turning out to be. And we’ve still go another year of this bull**** that we’re going to have to endure.
Let me guess, only Mitt has a real chance? These FOX pundits are beyond tiresome anymore.
No matter what these Romney shills say, I’m voting for Cain.
They can STUFF IT.
And I’ll remember these names in the future, including Christine o’Donnel, WND, and the other Romney cheerleaders.
Fox is just pathetic and obvious as a shill for Karl Rove and Jeb Bush in favor of Mittens. We must utterly reject the RINO establishment forever. I only watch Greta’s show since Beck’s departure.
Hmmmm, don’t know about Herman Cain, but the MSM HAS peaked (not “may”) and will continue to decline, thanks to the net.
Triumph of the nerds.
Shove it up your smelly Obamas, journalism majors.
Enjoy unemployment. I surely will enjoy watching you on unemployment, you low-grade slime.
I almost wonder if Cain gets the nomination if the Krauthammers, Humes, and O’Reillys of Fox News will openly campaign for Obozo.
Some of the comments on that article are downright embarrassing.
Ditto.
Gee, you think?
FNC’s political pundits need to just wear their Romney love buttons out in the open and get it over with.
And don’t forget that Fox helped Hannity’s good friend Al Sharpton get his own show on msnbc.
Perfect, just wonderfully perfect. If Cain continues through the first four or five primaries as the leader, he will have to use that one on Brit when Brit comes a groveling for an interview.
Immediately after the Cain remark, he attacked perry for attacking romney at the debate. You are absolutely right.
They won’t campaign for obama but they’ll “un-campaign” for Cain by constantly talking about how unqualified he is.
I hate say it, but I’m sick and tired of these airhead pundits spouting their freakin’ opinions. And I’m sick and tired of the phrase: “former Godfathers Pizza CEO”
It’s nothing but a shallow attempt to belittle a successful businessman with the label of pizza delivery boy — or in other words: not fit for the White House.
