Murder is wrong. Obama is a murderer: he ordered assination of an American citizen and aided in the shot to the head of Quadaffi. Wonder when Nobel committee will nullify the peace prize or if the World Court will summon onothing to stand trial for murder. Hillary giggled and was beside herself. For Secretary of State to behave in this manner is disgusting. If obummer and Shillery were repubs, the press would be all over them.
So now FR posters are worried what the UN thinks? Give me a break. The UN is and was a fig leaf for US power projection. It's why we made the damn thing and HQed it in our country.
How did Obama and NATO violate the Geneva Convention when we didn't have possession of this character? It's like blaming Eisenhower or FDR for the partisans shooting and hanging Mussolini.
I, for one, won't pretend this forum wouldn't be crowing if Bush had pulled of the same feat with no loss of American life. No less an adored figure, and one who holds the UN in contempt, on this board than Bolton put Libya amongst the 'Axis of Evil'.

Obama needs to apologize to Bush and Cheney for all the accusations of war crimes he made to them and only then will I give any credit to Obama.

Look at the difference in the way Osama was treated. He killed 3,000 or more of our citizens and we hurried his funeral at sea to be according to the Muslim faith.
They aren't in a hurry to bury this guy according to their faith.....it’s all smoke and mirrors and they believe in their faith only when they “feel” like it.
Best part about this is over at DU they are split on whether to defend or praise zero for these latest events.

My opinion is Gaddafi deserved to die. However he was captured alive by the insurgents, and they are all peaceful Muslims. They just proved their peaceful nature by executing a 69 year old man, held down by 10 people, with a bullet in head. And Zero wants to negotiate with these people?

But Obama stirred up the hornet’s nest in Libya— on purpose. If that had been done under Bush/Cheney, the left would have been screaming “Murderers...you did this for the oil blah blah”. And how do you/we know who the people were that captured him wasn’t working for the CIA?....

Liberals are great at molding the arguments by conveniently ignoring the law when it suits their needs. Clinton bombed Serbia for 78 days without congressional approval as mandated by the constitution but somehow avoided all the flack. Even many here on FR at the time didn’t take issue with it.
Heck, even Dubya continued the same Clinton policy by recognizing the current narco-state known as Kosovo. So every time I read someone quoting the Constitution in this regard it makes me cringe because It shows how many people from the right and left don’t take it seriously.

No American murdered anybody. Some pissed off Libyan rebel took things into his own hands. Desert justice. Leave Libya to the Libyans.
Sure, it would be better to have a kangaroo court like the Romainian’s had for Chauchescu (after which they immediately shot him). Or a trial like Egypt is currently having for Mubarak. But, given the nature of the Gaddafi’s regime, it is better to get rid of him quickly, to prevent some supportive group from busting him out.
Wow. What a shame. I was hoping for more torture.
