LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Stunning accusations that a top California Democratic campaign treasurer looted the war chests of her big-name clients have left candidates across the state scrambling to raise more money as election season looms. Kinde Durkee, who controlled the funds of roughly 400 candidates and groups, ranging from Senator Dianne Feinstein to local Democratic youth clubs, was arrested in September and charged with fraud.
While the extent of the losses isn't yet clear, the coffers of dozens of Democratic politicians have been frozen, prompting the crippled campaigns to ask the California Fair Political Practices Commission to permit further donations from contributors who have already given the maximum.

D’rats stealing from D’rats...poetic justice. And I still can’t help but wonder why the California DNC is on the list of creditors in the Solyndra Bankruptcy. Have we ever heard an explanation for that?

Just a little wealth distribution, in the very highest ideals of the left constituency.
Release her on her own recognizance and let her go back to work...

Ya gotta kind of love Durkee for redistributing the wealth of Democrats. It’s karmic.

I do! I like that, being a dimRAT, Durkee is exactly like they are only instead of stealing from the taxpayers she stole from the dimRATs who usually do the stealing from the taxpayers.
I laughed hard when I first read the story.

Or is it for Democrats only.

Stunning accusations that a top California Democratic campaign treasurer looted the war chests of her big-name clients have left candidates across the state scrambling to raise more money as election season looms. So basically, Kinde Dirkee did the same thing that Democrats have been doing with our Social Security taxes for the last half century. Looks like the chickens have come home to roost.
