LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Stunning accusations that a top California Democratic campaign treasurer looted the war chests of her big-name clients have left candidates across the state scrambling to raise more money as election season looms. Kinde Durkee, who controlled the funds of roughly 400 candidates and groups, ranging from Senator Dianne Feinstein to local Democratic youth clubs, was arrested in September and charged with fraud.
While the extent of the losses isn't yet clear, the coffers of dozens of Democratic politicians have been frozen, prompting the crippled campaigns to ask the California Fair Political Practices Commission to permit further donations from contributors who have already given the maximum.

The fact that they asked for allowances for campaign financing tells me this is a ruse they have their money. They want more.
Why hide it? They already told us they were crooks.

All Kinde Durkee did was occupy their funds, so I don’t know what they’re complaining about, damned greedy rich 1-percenters.
I’d say nix until there’s an accounting of what became of the funds that Durkee allegedly embezzled.

Oh, please.. it`s California. Do high-profile dems REALLY think they`re at risk out there? They control the “media,” the producers and wealth builders are fleeing that state with stunning speed, and hispanics are pouring in from across the southern border to replace them.
The dems needn`t worry. California is chained firmly by the neck to the plantation floor and isn`t going anywhere.

Too funny! It’s only a problem when it’s their money but when it’s other people’s money, they’re all for spending it on deadbeats such as themselves.
