Yes, after shooting again Sunday with a two-inch grouping at 30 yards, I told Hubby that it is MINE, MINE! I TELL YOU!!!! and that he will have to get his own, LOL!

Maybe when he gets his next bonus. Or maybe I’ll share... Sigh...

I'm working on Hubby. He's the sticky point. I thought I might go alone, but I really don't want to go without him.

He's only had one vacation since December 2004 when he started at his job. That's just the way he is, but I'm hoping to get him to take a road-trip vacation with a stop at the TCMS.

There are a few other places we both want to visit in the north east, mainly founding father stuff. I'm looking forward to it, but a lot of vacations have been called off at the last second because of work.

I’ve been going by myself because hubby hates to travel. I pestered him this year, but he balked again. I just love going, so off I go!

I think...but don’t quote me...that it will be in the Corpus area next year. Great fun when we had it there last time!

Think about it. I’d sure love to meet the ZOT queen! LOL!

Where is a good place for the next shoot in 2012? I had a good time meeting friends again. The “Texas Cowboy Gang” is like a family reunion without the members of the family that you do not like, even humblegunner and Mr.Mom. aka Eaker :)

We were thinking of having the next shoot at Deer Camp South in Aransas Pass, around early June.

BUT . . . there may be a hitch in those plans. My mother is planning on selling her house and moving permanently to DCS.

I’m working on a Plan B.

Don’t know yet. She just came up with this brilliant plan a few weeks ago.

Her neighbor said he wanted to buy her house, but needed time to cash in some stocks. Mother said she would not get her hopes up on that until he has cash in hand. If he does buy it she will move the first of the year. Otherwise there is no time table.

There were a few rules that my brother & I demanded before agreeing to her living there; I could add another one ~ we kick her out of the place the weekend of the shoot. ;-)
