Administration shill Weiner attempts to pull a fast (and furious) one(gunwalker)

What is it with regressives named “Weiner”?

No, not this subversive degenerate. This time it’s the “former spokesman for the House Government Reform Committee” creepily exposing himself for what he is. From his recent press release:

Bob Weiner, has called on current Committee Chairman Darryl Issa (R-CA) to subpoena ex-Attorneys General John Ashcroft and Alberto Gonzales for the first guns-to-Mexican cartels fiasco if he is calling current Attorney General Eric Holder. Robert Weiner, who was the committee’s spokesman under Chairman John Conyers (D-MI) for five years before becoming spokesman for the White House Drug Policy Office, called for a “rise over politics” since it was right after Ashcroft and directly under Gonzales’ tenure that the first failed Mexican gun-walking operation occurred in 2006-2007, “Operation Wide Receiver,” out of the same Phoenix division of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms that the later operation, “Fast and Furious,” took place.

Ah, so Bob: As their former spokesman, perhaps you can tell us why the Committee when under Democrat control ignored pleas to investigate allegations by veteran ATF agents of management abuse and corruption—made both publicly and sent to the Committee via its online citizen contact form?

And Bob: You no doubt have whistleblowers who have come forward—not just with allegations but with documentation—pinning Operation Wide Receiver on higher-ups in Justice—along with emails and correspondence? In spite of the fact that a confidential informant at the center of the plan has publicly stated:

It had nothing to do with Bush or even DOJ at that point.

Then there’s this bit of Smiling Bob “enhancement”:

Weiner conceded, “Giving guns to Mexican criminals was a stupid plan by ATF -- the batteries didn’t even work so what are you tracking?

Bob conveniently fails to mention how many of the

I find the MSM attemps to cover and lie for the administration every bit as contemptable as what the administration did.

If this administration had thought that the MSM would treat them as the MSM treated the Bush administration, none of this would have happened.

Of course, in that case, this administration would never have been elected.

I say go ahead and call them in, Weiner may get more than he’s wanting from their testimony.

“Robert Weiner, who was the committee’s spokesman under Chairman John Conyers (D-MI) for five years”

This statement in and of itself should DISQUALIFY him from EVER holding any position in government and from EVER TESTIFYING IN ANY CASE EVER. For he is an admitted LIAR.

It is my opinion - and please feel free to flame away if you like - that the open border, illegal alien and northward-flowing drug problems have demonstrated a curious pattern for many decades with regards to our government(s).

Administrations of both persuasions have been consistently at odds with the people of this country and the Constitution regarding safety, national security, the rule of law, and our national sovereignty connected with these issues.

Evidence of probable corruption and complicity in undermining our safety, national security, laws and sovereignty was clear in Clinton’s case, and has been suggested with the Bush family and, of course, Obama, as well as state and local administrations. Even even if the evidence is not otherwise compelling, other plausible explanations for their attitudes, policies and behaviors in these matters makes absolutely no sense with any other explanation.

It is my opinion that each of these administrations - Federal to local, top to bottom - has acted against the will and welfare of the people of the US, either through simple corruption, or through Globalist, and ultimately Marxist-Globalist, influences from those that brought them to power.

I would therefore have no objection to investigating the whole lot of them, except for the fact they and their fellow travelers would also control the entire investigation, and control the media that we would expect to report on it. It might seem to be an investigation full of sound and fury, but ultimately it would signify nothing.

Subpoena Bob Weiner. Sounds like he dropped the ball at best and at worst is part of the coverup.

If you were inviting flames in the hopes that someone could rationally disagree with you I think you have hoped in vain. I’m afraid your post makes a lot of sense.
