I really understand that relatives of Lockerbie victims wanted justice and could feel some sort of closure, but I humbly submit that the “rebels” were not killing Kaddafi on their behalf. Some Lockerbie relatives felt vindicated, but others felt no closure.

The gruesome videos, shown over and over, provide distraction from other news being pushed to the back burner. It is a “living in the moment” kind of story that leaves out inquiry into what type of government will replace the “horrible” dictator.

The first things the rebels said after the took the capital was that they were NOT going to return the Lockerbie Bomber.

That was certainly a terrible episode. But Kaddafi paid a price for it at the time, and when Bush later put the pressure on he turned over a new leaf and gave up on being an Islamic terrorist. Instead, he decided to be the inspirational leader of pan-Africa. Kind of crazy, but pretty harmless after he changed his ways.

Obama certainly didn’t help kill him because of his earlier terrorist activities. Quite the opposite. He wanted to help the Muslim Brotherhood gain power.

The thugs that killed Gadhafi also cheered the Lockerbie bomber when he returned to Tripoli...make no mistake, they supported Gadhafi when he was killing Americans, in fact, one of the reasons they turned against him, was because he renounced terrorism in the wake of 9/11.

To me, the video shows what kind of government Libya will have, and what kind the US has now. Thuggish and cruel.
