Details Of Lisa Irwin Search Warrant Released
kmbc.com ^ | October 21, 2011

Posted on 10/21/2011 12:15:57 PM PDT by ilovesarah2012

Detectives and FBI agents spent roughly 17 hours on Wednesday searching the property at 3620 North Lister Avenue.

Court documents reveal a list of items taken as evidence. The items include a multicolor comforter, purple shorts, a multicolor Disney character shirt, a Glo Worm toy, a "Cars"-themed blanket, rolls of tape and a tape dispenser.

Lisa was reported missing early on the morning of Oct. 4.

"Investigative interviews with the people involved revealed conflicting information for clear direction in the investigation," an affidavit supporting the warrant said. "(Deborah) Bradley made the statement she did not initially look for her baby behind the house because she 'was afraid of what she might find.'"

The affidavit also revealed that "On October 17, 2011, an FBI cadaver dog was brought into the residence upon consent of Irwin and Bradley. The cadaver dog indicated a positive 'hit' for the scent of a deceased human in an area of the floor of Bradley's bedroom near the bed."

Add that scenario to reports that 3 people within a 4 mile radius saw a tall man carrying a baby wearing only a diaper between 12:00 and 4:00 a.m.

Does the father have a car? IIRC mother doesn’t have a driver’s license. Who would carry a live baby outside in freezing temperatures wearing only a diaper?

Very strange time-line and alibis. I was leaning toward a stranger abduction - or a frustrated relative who wanted to teach the drunken mother ‘a lesson’.

The second I heard the mother say she was drunk it was the first thing that popped into my head. Then I saw the look on the father’s face during the interview with Megyn Kelly, WOW did he look zoned out or what..it was like the lights were on but no one’s home. He is the one that disposed of the body, he didn’t want his wife to wake up and realize she killed her own child because she was drunk up the wazoo. I believe the eyewitnesses who saw a man running with a baby down the street was in fact the father trying to find a spot to bury her

One report was a black man with a baby. That obviously wasn’t the father.

Reading the responses at the bottom of that link - the only person who thinks the Mother is innocent is from Florida! Seriously, how stupid are people in Florida? They let the tot mom go now think this woman is innocent? (apologies to florida freepers who are obviously the smartest people in that State!)

There were three reports of a tall man carrying an infant - I don’t recall that he was described as black or white. Just that the child wore only a diaper.

I caught a news report that LE searchers found the clothes(in the house) the mother said Lisa was wearing when she put her in the crib. Did someone undress her leaving only a diaper?

You don’t need to be Tanya Reiman to read that dude’s body language...

An odd thing is that I clearly recall when this first happened I commented on putting the child to bed in shorts and a tshirt because I looked up the temp there that night and it was 55 degrees. Some on here were discussing that they would have turned the heat on so it wouldn't matter, but Deborah made a comment that it was a warm night - something about the window not being latched I think - I thought that was odd - now folks are reporting it was so cold that it was odd to see someone carrying a baby without clothing on.

People can be wrong, especially in the dark..that is why eyewitness testimony never holds up in court. You ask 10 people who saw the same thing what they saw and they will all say 10 different things

It surely seems like a copycat crime by a deranged woman who seeks the limelight.

Yeah, I’m not buying the dog’s hit. There’s no way the baby would have been left there for decay to begin. Now, if no one had seen the baby for days, maybe, but certainly not since being reported missing.

Yes it does but I hope deep in my heart it isn’t so. I want this baby to be alive and well, but as time goes by it is getting sadder and sadder.

I just read that the scent begins in 70 minutes after death. Not sure if that’s true, but ...

Could a dirty diaper sitting on the floor for a few hours have caused a remains scent? Reserving judgement.

I don't think people should be jumping all over the mother. It is unimaginable the pain she must feel. If she did it, then she deserves no sympathies obviously, but I would rather withdraw my sympathies than look in the mirror knowing I thought wrong of her without evidence.

I have done some dumb things while drinking, obviously nothing to this level. I don't think I ever passed out when I was the only parent watching the kids. But still, I am not perfect. I just can't imagine how horrible I would feel if something like that happened while I was drunk. Even if the girl is found tomorrow completely unscathed, this mom will feel a lifetime of guilt.

I understand that people don't want to feel fooled or tricked. But I just pray this mother is not involved and I still hope the baby is safe somewhere. I know it is bleak at this point though.

OK, not the baby’s room.

Still wonder about the whole time of death ‘till a scent can be detected thing. 4 hrs? 6 hrs? Less? More?

Rose-colored glasses. A cadaver dog would not hit on a dirty diaper. The parents’ time line and stories changed. A drunk watching three kids? And you have sympathy for her? I don’t. My sympathy is with Lisa and Lisa only.

Not possible with a child as old as this one was.She would’ve been 11 months old over last weekend and most likely already strong enough to be pulling herself up to walk.I more believe the Mom lost it because she was drunk and either hit her too hard or shook her....
