You can point out proposals like this to a sheeperal, and they’ll say “well, they didn’t get it done”, or “he’s only one of 535 congresspeople”.
No, that’s not the point. It’s that he’s a democrat, and that he WANTS TO DO THIS.
After Hillarycare failed, when you pointed out that the ‘rats wanted to socialize our medical system, the lefties’ excuse was “well, they didn’t get it done”. Now we have 0bamacare.
Obama has implied a couple of times he’d like to govern without Congress. The Governor of North Carolina has suggested suspending elections. Articles in various lefty rags agree with these type of ideas.
This is not an isolated thing.
