“.....(Romney) now finds himself in the position of having to “hang around” in the GOP race while conservatives flirt with a series of alternatives.

Meanwhile the MSM and their ilk work 24/7 to influence the GOP nominee choice of the weakest opponent of their One. Focus on the propaganda, counteract it.

* Cain is the only candidate I will vote FOR.
* Romney is the only GOP candidate I will vote AGAINST.
* All the other GOP candidates I will bit the bullet and vote against Obama.

The article is right that anti-Romney voters will determine who wins the nomination. NOT the pro-Romney crowd. It is obvious Romney has around 27% of the overall support and that number WILL rise as more candidates drop out of the race. The remaining votes will be split among those for Cain and Perry. Maybe Gingrich and Bachmann, should they survive.

Overall, the choice is up to US. Not the Romney crowd. WE hold the cards.

WE need to be RIGHT and be SMART going forward.

Unfortunately, we're not. We'll split the vote and Romney will win the nomination. Sorry, that's my gut feeling right now unless a miracle happens and we collectively come to our senses.

I don't agree with this. People who don't like Romney now are not going to like him when others drop out, with the exception of Huntsman's Mormon supporters.

If Romney is the GOP nominee, Obama wins with a plurality.

That'll teach Romney.

If Romney’s the nominee, we’d be better off with Ubama...

I’m trying to figure out why saying “I’ll vote for Obama” is not as zotable as supporting Romney.

“Affect,” not “Effect.”

af_vet_rr you are missing mikhailovich point. We need to get behind one candidate. Not 3 or 4 that conservatives are voting for and 1 that the socialists in the republican party will vote for.

mikhailovich supports Perry, you support Cain, which of you wants to see your candidate drop out for the benefit of the other?

I don’t care that much. As long as Romney doesn’t win. we should go in the end with who is leading
