Interesting read, but the truth of Obama’s birth will never force him from office. Sadly our own leaders on the political right will not touch it with a 10 ft pole.
Not even the most heralded conservative to come along since Reagan, I speak of Sarah Palin, will go their other than a reference in a speech now and then.
I do not say that this group should not pursue their goal, but while doing so I pray they also educate the Christians accepting their challenge that we need to gain control of the party apparatus at the grass roots level.
Christians need to begin attending local, county, and state party conventions to insure that the leadership starts to reflect the beliefs of the members. Until that happens we will never have leaders that will stop such a violation of the constitution from happening again.
As it is, those who attend these meetings are not the ardent Christians, but rather the moderate believers who agree with the leaders they appoint.
I have always believed that it is the Christian’s obligation to understand the workings of our government as well as they do the precepts of God. Jesus tells us to be “wise as serpents and harmless as doves”. (Mark 10:16)
That means we need to return these political party meetings back into the quasi church gatherings they were when our founding began got together to write the greatest government to citizen agreement since Moses was handed the law by God Himself, the constitution.
