Okay this is not a "new add" as the title indicates - he is explaining his empowerment zones (called opportunity zones now).
But check this out... "To qualify for zone status under Cains plan, a given jurisdiction will have to enact policies the unions consider anathema such as the elimination of the minimum wage, the provision of school vouchers, or the declaration of a zone as a right-to-work area.

Right to work zones are the vampire’s worst enemy. I’m liking Herman more and more.

Cain is doubling down on a convoluted plan that most voters don’t understand. He must be channeling Rube Goldberg. He’s hurting himself. He needs to soft-pedal 999 and move on to something else or he’ll wind up a single issue candidate.

Okay, here we go! On the left are the Obama-squatters in their 140 inner-city Obamavilles. No work being done anywhere in sight!
On the right are Herman Cain’s” - - - opportunity zones in inner-city America - - - . “ Red tape is cut, workers are at the “shovel ready” positions, all that is needed is a small matter of an election vic - - - - ! Oops, forgot about the Unions.
BTW, what if Cain would include a plank in his campaign to disband all unions until his opportunity zones were completed? It could take 8 years - - - .
Maybe even get a few Obama-squatters to leave their mommies and actually do manual labor. After all, WORK IS MORE FUN THAN FUN ITSELF.

Cain’s plan would increase my taxes.

I love Herman! The doubters can say what they want, but no one can say he backs down from a fight over what he knows needs to be done. A Romney/Perry type professional politician would cower to the Union Mobsters.
Just keep fighting the good fight Mr. Cain!

I have many concerns about 9-9-9, but with some adjustments there might be good plan here.

I wonder how many Republican candidates will repeat these liberal/big labor talking points? Based on Tuesday night's debate... I'm guessing every single one of them, especially Perry.

Why can’t the other Republican candidates get Trumka this p.o’d??

These “opportunity zones” are nothing more than just another method of spreading the wealth around. Herman was preaching fairness in the tax code and then he came up with this. I'm disappointed and he's lost my support.
Go Bachmann.

I can understand the minimum wage and right to work part. But what does school vouchers have to do with improving an area’s economic climate? It’s using his tax plan for social engineering, something that the Democrats love to do. What next? Opportunity Zones can’t have mosques? Or a Planned Parenthood Office? And if the Democrats get back in, will it be Opportunity Zones can’t have fast food outlets? It’s getting idiotic.

Teamsters General President Jim Hoffa told Fox News in an emailed statement: Herman Cains Opportunity Zones appear to be an opportunity for corporate America to exploit workers and turn the United States into a third-world country. This really stops me and makes me re-think this whole Cain thing, b/c there's no doubt that Hoffa is truly concerned about American prosperity and American superiority...
