PASADENA, Md., Sept. 21, 2011 /Christian Newswire/ -- Katherine Cesinger, State Press Director, RickPerry.org, Inc., says, re: Governor Rick Perry's position on abortion: "His position has been consistent on this. Gov. Perry is pro-life, with exceptions for rape, incest and life of the mother."
In response, Michael Anthony Peroutka, co-founder with his brother Steve of "Institute On The Constitution" (TheAmericanView.com), has issued the following statement:

When liberalism and the government began to relieve people of personal responsibility, and thus morality, it put us on the fast track to the almost feral culture we have now.
Are you getting yourself into trouble again?
*Waves from the north country*
that is the only justification at all. A tubal pregnancy, for example, should be terminated because it could very well kill the mother. Rape and incest are not a reasonable reason to kill a baby. We never execute a person for the crime of his/her father and this should be no exception!
I’ve seen his record. He HAS a record. Cain has no record, so it’s a lot harder to trust him. Since he has no record, we have to care more about what he says, and every time he talks he has to retract something else.
But he’s 100% pro-life, except government shouldn’t tell women what to do, but abortion should be illegal, except a President shouldn’t tell anybody anything, because it’s a private matter for the family to decide.
He was asked a simple question, and 24 hours later, he still hasn’t been able to even say he supports a law banning abortion. But we are supposed to trust that he’ll be solidly pro-life, because he says he’ll do something.
Meanwhile, Perry, who you don’t trust, has actually defunded planned parenthood, passed a state law requiring sonograms, and implemented other pro-life policies.
The pro-life organizations in Texas seem to find him quite reliable.
Me? Trouble??? No, I’m just trolling in my parents basement eating some Cheetohs. ;)O I’m ALWAYS on FR, you know.
Basement or not, I think you're a cougar, I have evidence.........
Carry on the good fight. Gotta hit the hay for work, uh, trolling tomorrow...
The life of the mother is the only exception and that choice is upto the mother. Only in the very rarest of circumstances does this even come up.
What does a "trimester" have to do with whether or not the baby is alive?
The term was invented by Justice Blackmun in Roe v. Wade. It is a word designed to cheapen the life of a baby in the womb so as to justify its murder.
Self defense is the only legitimate reason to kill another human being. Rape and incest are not life threatening conditions to warrant killing a human being who is guilty of nothing.
This is her thread. Unlike hit-and-runners who throw up articles and aren't heard from again in spite of endless refutations, she sticks around, replies and defends her post.
I bet her mom can whip your ass holding two bags of Cheetos.
So the fact that God said He knows them in the womb makes no difference to you?
Help for mothers keeping their babies, adoption services for those who can not, are heavily promoted in TX.
Well, if this issue is important to you, then Perry has years of record supporting pro-life issues. The only other candidate who does is Santorum.
did you read the first interview Jaycee Duggard gave?
She talked about the great love she has for her daughters - how they kept her going.
No one has been talking about how much this mother loves her babies despite how they were conceived.
Im amazed at how that lady turned out. What a model of a strong character she is!
I am not a young man anymore either, and besides that irrelevancy, you didn't answer by what principle it is acceptable to kill an innocent person for the crime of someone else. Your statement is also self-vitiating. The opinion that people who are blind to any and all other opinions and who follow one path no mattter what gets in the way are fanatics, is just as much an opinion blind to any and all other opinions as that which it purports to condemn, and so by its own measure could also be called blind and fanatical. And it is without foundation because you, a finite human being with non-universal, limited experience and knowledge, are in no position to dictate prescriptive, universal laws of thought or morality or to assure anyone that your stipulations for the mind or for morality are applicable to the world of thought or matter outside your own mind.
I observe that people who are blind, people who have opinions or who follow one path (btw, how could a person NOT follow one path?) are all living. They were not cut into pieces by an abortionist. So which is more fanatical to you, actually killing an innocent person for the crime of someone else, or holding an opinion that is blind to any and all other opinions?
Many times Karma bites a fanatic.
Karma is the enemy of forgiveness. I don't believe in many gods and I don't believe in Karma.
Indifference to the slaughter of innocents is no virtue.
Cordially,
So Cain's Its not the governments role, or anybody elses role to make that decision, was entirely about raising the baby, not about abortion.
OK, that makes sense. Sorry for the error.
