Reflecting national trends, businessman Herman Cain has now jumped to the front of the Republican pack in Iowa.
A new Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Iowa caucus-goers shows that Cain is in front with 28% followed by former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney at 21%. Congressman Ron Paul is a distant third at 10% followed by former House Speaker Newt Gingrich at 9%, Congresswoman Michelle Bachmann at 8%, and Texas Governor Rick Perry at 7%. The sixth place finish for Perry is a sharp decline from early September when Perry was the frontrunner both nationally and in Iowa.
But But But Perry supporters told me that he was rebounding....roll eyes. Thank God Cain is winning!!!!!!
GO CAIN GO!
Shut up you old bag. Really Perry is 7 percent. It IS over for him.
Alaska,
Poor Perry supporters can dish it but can’t take it.....so weak. Thank God their worthless liberal Perry fraud is sinking so fast. He would be a dismal President. Buck up altura.....weak weak weak.
Bob
So, apparently that IS all you got.
Only the tip of the iceberg there altura. That is why liberal Perry is falling on his face. Perry is so incompetent. Only the liberal could have 40 percent in the polls and the minute he opened his mouth lost 37 percent of his support........HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I have never been happier.
I know it is a foreign concept to some of you but I want us to choose the strongest candidate possible to take on Obama. It doesn't have to be Perry, even though I like his record.
Now, would you like to be a gentleman/lady and apologize?
Are you serious? You are bashing Cain by using liberal sources and you think you are above the fray? Are you really serious?
Again, I am not afraid of the truth be it about any of our candidates. We need to make a wise choice.
The PPP is not reliable for polling. it is a liberal group.
Still early for anyone to pull out of their campaigns.
Maybe you should worry a little about Cain. Some of his comments that I heard personally or read: I would be happy to be a running mate for Romney. He had to backtrack: Stated something about a woman’s right to choose. Not very conservative sounding. He said he would build a fence on the border and electify it with signs said it would kill anyone trying to cross. he said it was a joke, but the video says otherwise. He verbally trashed Governor Perry on national TV about the WaPost story about a rock with an N-word on it at a hunting lease used in the past by Perry’s family. This rock was painted over in the late 1980’s. Perry does not own the land. Cain has some explaining to do.
Cain may or may not carry the south, but he will have a problem in the liberal states. He also will not likely to pull in legal Hispanic votes either after his comments about an electric fence killing those who try to cross.
Me?? I posted an editorial last night with some criticism of 9-9-9, not a smear (like that one Perry-bot did Monday before he got it) and not an attack, but honest criticism. In fact a couple of Cain-bots got mad about it..
I am not married to Cain and am not a brainless robot repeating chants like the Perry-bots do and I am watching all the things you mentioned shown on cabler IV.
If Perry hadn't have shot himself in the head he could still be on top. Maybe Cain ‘corrects’ his starements after got-ya interviews, but Perry has done NOTHING to convince me he thinks he misspoke on the “Have a heart” Dream Act. He has us convinced he is for amnesty and he wont come out and make clear that he is against it to fix things. I dont even see him in tough interviews, looks like he is trying the Palin strategy.
I stand happily chastised and corrected. my Apologies
is Cain really just another GOP insider ?
another Big Government slave keeper ?
I am sceptical of anyone who was once chairman of the Fed
When was Mr. Cain the chairman of the Fed?
oops sorry , my bad , I meant chairman of the federal reserve bank of Kansas City '95-96
seems like Cain is the best thing going but personally I value him about equal with Perry ,
