This is a bruising left hook to the Mitt Romney Campaign. Now we know why the seemingly unimportant exchange over the illegal immigrant hiring.

It’s pretty clear to me that “local” means yokel ... to most at the national GOP level.

With all these hypocrisy charges, Perry is really setting himself up to shot down in grand style. He has many statements in his past concerning illegal aliens and border security that will make him look extremely hypocritical to most Republican voters. Someone will put those clips together eventually, including the statement that folks who disagree with his in-state tuition for illegals have no heart.

Both Perry and Romney have albatrosses from the past around their necks on issues critical to many Republican voters. Cain has the soundest stances on critical issues of the most prominent candidates.

Agreed. Perry has his own baggage, like turning from dem to GOP. How’s that for misleading. They all need to turn the attack on the Odumbo administration.

Making a mature, thoughtful decision to leave the party of irresponsible thieves and join the party of responsible Americans? That is misleading? Hardly. What's misleading is Mittens' style flip-flopping, or calling Romneycare something that it plainly isn't; but switching political parties because you no longer believe that the democrat party represents the real interest of ordinary Americans? You must have hated Ronald Reagan then.

The funny thing is all the money a campign saves not running ads against Perry. Theres no need too.The more he is seen nationally on his own the less need to run a campighn ad against him.

Awesome.

I hope Rush plays the ad.

The MSM hides Myth’s weaknesses, knowing he is the easiest candidate for Obama to crush.

Yeah.... that ad really hits hard.

Very negative... I still don’t think it helps Perry.

I’m sure Cain doesn’t mind though.

I don’t care who takes Myth down, as long as he is taken down.

This reeks of desperation. I wouldn’t want to see Rick Perry debating Obama.
It’s going to be Cain or Romney . . Rick Perry is just floundering now.

I don’t care for either one of them. Obviously would take either over Obama, but don’t really trust these two.

Look man, this is a political ad. This is for Perry supporters to enjoy and anyone else on the fence like apparently 50% of the others.

I thought this was something all Freepers could enjoy and look at it this way if it makes you feel better, Perry is just doing the job Cain wont do.

Forget it. Reagan was an FDR Democrat. And became the champion of conservatism.

Perry never denied or obfuscated the fact he was a Democrat 22 years ago. It was Mitt who mislead saying Perry was Al Gore's Texas campaign head or that he was for amnesty. Mitt outright lied.

Making a mature, thoughtful decision to leave the party of irresponsible thieves and join the party of responsible Americans? That is misleading?

The problem with that shaky defense of Perry is that one can start in the 1960s, when the Dim party was clearly on the course to what it has become, and make of list of all the Dim politicians and Dim actions that did NOT cause Rick Perry to leave the Dim party until after 1988.

Perry was still supporting a Dim for president in 1988, after more than 20 years of many hard left policies from the Dim party.

About the best defense that can be made for Perry on this is that he is a very slow learner.
