Just heard a blurb on the news yesterday, saying that college loans had replaced house loans as the number one reason for indebtedness. Just in time for the OWS stuff. Like clockwork.

They busted the housing market through CRA (”compassionately” giving loans to people they knew could never, ever pay them back, leading to the collapse of the housing market) and now they’re moving on to education, like you said (Obama’s “fix” “compassionately” giving HUGE college loans to people they knew will never be able to pay them back - people like the OWS gal who said she is 21 years old and has $120,000 of college loans to pay back, coming out to $1600/month by next June). First they “compassionately” give out money that people can’t afford, leading them to believe everything will be fine. They create an expectation that can never be fulfilled. And then when TSHTF the government has to bail these people out.

They do the same thing with the states. Obama’s “jobs bill” is this precise thing. Give money to the states so they will introduce new jobs that the states can’t afford. That creates an expectation. Let the states test drive how nice it would be to have a Mercedes even though the states could never afford to have their own Mercedes. Then take away the money and leave them with the expectation but no way to fulfill that expectation. That lays the groundwork for the feds to have to swoop in to save the damsel in distress.

I see the same thing in my work. I work with an after-school program. I was hired when they advertised for new positions; they needed to fulfill a supervisor/student proportion for the feds because they got a federal grant. Well... just last week my boss was told that the program has to go through summer as well, so the money she thought she had for the school year is actually supposed to last us all through summer as well. They’ve created an expectation. These parents have learned to expect that this program will be there; they can drop their kids off at school in the morning, all year long, and pick them up after work. Their kids will be fed and supervised. If state or federal budget cuts meant this program had to end, there would be an outcry among these parents. That’s exactly what they want. They want people to test drive how wonderful the government sector can be (while they rack up unsustainable debt, charging it all to the credit card) so the people will never want to go back to driving the car they can actually afford. It’s all to create an expectation of living like kings, getting something for nothing. But eventually the credit card bill has to be paid, and this illusion will all come crashing to a halt.

It is methodical, systematic, blatant, and predictable. It is coordinated between the communist/Islamists, the news media, the educational system (elites & unions), the filthy-rich communist bankers (and no, that’s not an oxymoron, it’s just two-faced liars like Soros), and the democrat leadership.

If we let them get away with this, we deserve what we get, and it will be very, very bad.

It is methodical, systematic, blatant, and predictable.

They create the crisis over time, so no one notices.
For example - the Housing Act goes back to Carter, and was tweaked by Clinton. It grew to massive proportions - then the oil speculators (Soros), who knew these people could barley afford their mortgage, drove the price of gas up to $4.00 a gallon. The poor couldn't afford both the house and the gas. Everything crashed. That created a domino, and you know the rest of the story. It was planned so well, it happened just in time for the Oboma election! The dems took over everything. That even gave them a short cut to the health care take over, too! It was a big win/win for the communist radicals that year.
