8 U.S.C. § 1623 : US Code - Section 1623 prohibits giving instate tuition to ILLEGAL aliens based on residency. But this law has been circumvented first Texas and now by California wherein they changed the criteria for eligibility from being a resident of the state to having attended 3-years of high school.
California, being the liberal mecca that it is, is a lost cause. But voters in a state like Texas, which claims to be conservative, should be irate. I know there is currently a move to repeal the Texas law that Perry continues to defend. Hopefully, this election will have prompted enough passion in those opposed to such insanity to finally demand that their elected officials cease wasting their taxpayer dollars on people who are not American citizens. We can only hope.
