i was born dead - had asphyxiated on the cord in delivery- the NDE is my earliest memory and my most profound - its so peaceful .One of my church buddies had one with a heart attack - they revived him 2 times - he begged to go back
Storm’s case is fascinating, and there are many more like it. Hell exists, and Jesus is the way out.
don’t know if it’s the same guy, but read about one that went to hell and described what he saw. When he was revived he became a christian minister, was an atheist before the experience.....Not every-ones meeting with Jesus is that dramatic....but when you meet him, you are changed...for some its a quiet meeting, gradual according to the individual....
And He puts up with me, even when I'm being rotten. I too had a near-death experience, went into cardiac arrest twice during a heart attack at the tender age of 47. I've never stopped thanking Him for giving me a second chance at life, and for giving the EMTs in the ambulance the skill to save me.
If I had not come back, I'd never have known my four wonderful grandsons, who were not yet born. Now, since my retirement, I've been volunteering at our local hospital - going on six years now, and I appreciate even more our dedicated medical people.
You remember a NDE from your birth?
Certainly has a sense of humor, ever see a duck-billed platypus...it was created from left over parts of creation..:O)
We’ve all died countless times. Not a big deal.
Please accept my condolences on the loss of your Mother.
If it was one of those crabcakes I had in Baltimore a few years ago this would never have happened!
I did a report on NDE in high school. I also have read things on them and seen several shows on TV including an ABC special and I Surived - Beyond And Back. The part about the talons is something I’ve never heard before. I do believe that some of these experiences could be legit, especially those that have changed people for the better like Howard Storm.
Exactly.
Hebrews 9:27 Just as people are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment,
Not sure an experience like that will make me fear death less. Then again, he was at a crab-eating contest when he nearly died. Maybe the mother crab made it up to heaven and she was pissed...
Uh huh. Yeah right.
I once paid my property taxes ($1,000 - and no money for it) with a pumpkin.
to shorten the story - where I worked had a pumpkin carving contest - 300 employees, name in hat every night for month that you met a certain goal - 5 names pulled - carved in secret in separate rooms - judged by head honchos, no one knowing who carved which...
I won and was handed $1,000 cash - paid taxes next day.
The Lord works in mysterious way, indeed.
Don’t forget: we’re all day-to-day.
I believe that from a multiple lives where we return to our human spirit to develop/improve on our spiritual being. I have a friend who has been through this and he too has no fear of death. I’ll stop there as I’m sure this is a controversial topic but not one of reincarnation.
There is some interesting, peer-reviewed research on NDE’s that may be of interest to the discussion - thought I’d pass along a link that deals with the topic in relation to the human soul -

Is this about Rick Perry’s debate performance or is it about the Harry Belafonte interview?
