Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano told the Senate Judiciary Committee on Wednesday that under the administrations policy of exercising prosecutorial discretion in the enforcement of the immigration laws, her department is currently authorizing some illegal aliens to work in the United States. One step in guaranteeing a majority in 2012 for the dimocrats is all.

At some point in the process there needs to be decisions made about who is to be removed, she said. It cost in the neighborhood of $23,000 to $30,000 to actually remove somebody. Thats our cost, [it] doesnt include Justice Department cost. The Congress gives us the ability to finance removals of 400,000 people a year. First of all, removing 400,000 per year puts us way behind when there are at least 20 million here. Also, I saw on news last night that private jets are chartered to fly illegals back to Honduras, Guatemala, Mexico, etc. We are in really, really bad shape with this cancerous problem. It's costly when they stay and costly to remove 'em, especially when they return again and again.
One thing I'd like Republican candidates to address is this sob story of how our "immigration system separates families." That is a choice that the deported adult makes when they leave their babies behind and they do it all the time to get the free education and all the other free stuff.

No candidate is speaking against work permits for illegals. Not any. Ever. You can not GET them to say they are against work permits. Try it. There will be no round ups, no trains.
Now, if we talk about pressing businesses who hire illegals and making businesses accountable for doing so, then we can find some commentary. To some extent doing something like that en masse, and overnight, would have a very negative impact on small businesses and the economy, because that labor may not be easily replaced at the same low wage for at least a period of time. Just askin’.

Politicians and bureaucrats in Washington would be in grave, imminent danger if the citizens of our great country ignored law with the same degree of impunity as the Obama administration.

These are processes that have been in place since 1986. Our FedGov has been practicing partial backdoor amnesty for years now.
Brings to light why they are fighting the states in regard to immigration enforcement.
