Heralding a splash of good news on jobs, President Barack Obama on Wednesday praised a series of companies that have promised to hire 25,000 veterans or military spouses within two years, calling it a sign of patriotism and business savvy. He pushed his economic agenda anew to a military audience, this time with first lady Michelle Obama at his side.
"We ask you to fight, to sacrifice, to risk your lives for your country," Obama told an audience of thousands of people at Joint Base Langley-Eustis. "The last thing you should have to do is fight for a job when you come home. Not here. Not in the United States of America."

Gee you would think if the mac daddies were to say anything about job they would have actually have had one during their lifetime instead of ones as paybacks for sevices received.
Lets see....this is not a campaign trip. This must mean Moochelle is giving a policy speech...leaving the realm of First Lady.

If this was so important to Obama, why didn’t he push this 3 long years ago..... instead of pulling it out during an election year?
No increase in military retirement pay since he took office. Also, no increase in VA disability pay. Yeah....he really worries about veterans. What a liar.

Come next October I will be retired after serving 23 1/2 years in the military. The only dealings I want with government after that is: send me my retirement check and I will vote. Other than those two things; leave me the hell alone.
