Anything goes wrong, the "Customer Consultant" is going to take the heat or lack of it.

I'm of 2 minds about this, too good to be true, and hoping it works. I'll be disappointed but not surprised if this doesn't come off on the 28th.

If it doesn’t work it is everyone else’s fault? What a nutjob.

Let’s see. Rossi’s E-Cat = A dubious man, with a dubious education, and a dubious past, making dubious claims, about dubious new energy output devices. Nah...no reason to be skeptical at all.

And in the case this test will go not well, we will learn and remake another, and another, and another, but, be sure, we will arrive to the target. At any cost.Doesn't sound very confident does he?

I can't imagine anyone taking responsibility for a test without a thorough understanding of every aspect of what is being tested.
Unless perhaps Rossi is going to be on site and look over the “Customer consultant's” shoulder, in which case it's Rossi’s test.
If the big test is simply a repeat of the earlier demo then the “snakes” can save the plane trip to Italy.
Rossi created the circus, it's a bit late to complain about the spotlight now.

Sounds like Rossi believes his own test is going to fail.

Uhh...no. But say, I have an excellent, scientifically proven concept for free electricity that doesn't involve catalysts and cats or hype and hydrogen.
The atmosphere above the earth carries an electrical charge opposite the earth. The higher one goes, the greater the difference in potential. Therefore tether a balloon with a copper wire about a thousand feet above the earth and have free energy, free electricity.
One might want to try a lesser height and do so in good weather. Why isn't everyone on to this!!!??

He was elderly and from a different time. He worked most of his life as a carpenter and never had a written contract, a handshake was trust enough. Only one person in all those many years broke that trust with a bad check.
So when he made that comment I could only agree that, yes, it’s possible.

Using the cover of mad ramblings to plant the seeds of doubt to keep the true believers following after a less than exciting outcome on the 28th IMHO.
The plan, as described is madness from an engineering standpoint anyway. In my career, I have been forced to send first article prototypes to customers, but not without at least some rudimentary performance testing. This plan: Don’t know how it works, don’t know if it works, but they’re going to turn it over to a customer and let them fire up the whole smash. And they’re going to be in production in months.
I’m trying hard to be a neutral but skeptical observer, but it’s getting harder.

Any sort of close examination would agree. But the customer is likely someone like Leonardo Technologies in New Hampshire, a “consulting” firm or Ampenergo which is...who knows what it is.
I wonder what the “self destruct” mechanism is...Maybe that's a code name for the whole project.
