Yes
We have boots on the ground in Uganda now too
That was no gaffe...
that is the truth...
whether its 3000 or 5000 we should leave anyone behind in Iraq or Afghanistan...
Let us tax things one more time with a 9% national sales tax! yeah that’s the ticket!
Mr Cain needs an exemption for current savings, NOT an exemption for “empowerment zones”
Even after the 16th is repealed, the new 9% tax is an additional tax on currently taxed existing savings.
Even after the 16th is repealed, the new 9% tax is an additional tax on currently taxed existing savings.
There must be an exemption for current savings.
I watched the debate on YouTube late last night...
and early this morning...
When the subject was Mormonism and several including the hypocrite Romney were expounding “the Founding Fathers !!!” this and that
I was yelling “somebody please know and say that those same Founding Fathers were dead dunked into Mormonism. They werent allowed freedom of religion”
But the lying swine Willie Mitty knew that nobody on the stage either knew or understood or believed that the Mormons are such bigots when it comes to denying others their right to choose their own religion
and that the Mormons have been creating a state/national religion all along...
I'm all for abolishing the IRS. And I am certainly for eradicating the nefarious "hiding" of real taxes via withholding.
But what does the Fair Tax or 999 or Flat Tax or any other "tax debate" we discuss have to say about the PRICE OF GOVERNMENT.
These are all "how to collect" arguments, only remotely connected to "how much it costs."
Can we all agree that no matter what the "plan" is, the resulting tax law coming out of Congress will be different, if not unrecognizable, eventually amended with all sorts of prebates and social engineering which will use "fair" as a term to give special exemptions to farmers, "working families" (unions) and gay/lesbian/transgender housemates.
So my question is, other than Cain's proposal that bringing the uniform tax down on everyone will indirectly pressure congress to keep rates low*, is ANY candidate proposing ANYTHING else to address the "how much" argument (total taxes vs GDP, etc.)??
AFAIK, the answer is no.
Unless the amount being collected is small enough to allow freedom and liberty, then it doesn't matter what the method/formula for collecting it is.
* And BTW, everything that is done by Congress "for the people" is not done universally, but instead by the majority for a specific subset of constituents. I can't think of an example where that is not the case. Thus, is there any reason not to believe that anything done to "keep rates low" will actually be done to "keep rates low for a subset of constituents" somehow, some way, with offsets, prebates, rebates, credits, exemptions, etc.
I agree completely.
A courageous and honorable man who served his country with great valor.
And was slandered and mocked by the Presstitute and Saturday Night Live Scum that wouldn't lift a finger to serve in the defense of America.
A shameful example of the leftist slime machine at work.
Ana 1...2...3...4 another one bites the dust.......
They will lower prices because if they don’t their competition will.
They will use this as getting an edge on the market - that’s what price wars are all about.
Libya is IN Africa.
What in the world does this mean? Founding Fathers and Mormonism? Mormonism wasn't founded until late in the first third of the 19th century, 50 years or more after the founding of our nation. If you're equating Mormonism with the Founding Fathers you're dead wrong.
Bottom line is that Cain took bullets and came out fine last night.
Mittster took bullets and looked petty.
I think Cain pulls off the upset in both Iowa and SCarolina.
But the full forces of Leftism and GOP Progressivism will be flung at him now.
If you want to burn mormons in your furnace for heat this winter, go for it.

You are not accusing me of wanting to murder Mormons are you? You wouldn’t be the first on FR to do so.
Further I have NEVER wished or said I wished violence against Mormons, your comment was uncalled for and vile.
Finally, I AM NOT the one who brought up Mormonism, one of the Mormon defendeders brought it up out of the blue and attacked us.
Get over yourself.
Well said, CAWW
I don’t believe you. I have seen your posts for years and I know better. Ever hear of conversion to the LDS?
