Why Democrats and the MSM Love Romney, and Hate Herman Cain
October 17, 2011 | This Just In

How many of you viewed the most recent debates between our Republican presidential candidates? If you were one of the fortunate, if not unfortunate, and you failed to miss the blatant bias by the moderator and panel during the Inquisition, I would suggest you rush to the nearest brain surgeon and have your head examined.

Now, how many of you noticed that tiny little detail involving Romney's face time (or should I say-mic time) compared to those, if any, of the other candidates?

The special treatment Romney was so fortunate as to enjoy is just one example of how the liberals and the MSM have been working overtime in order to stump for Mitt's presidential bid.

I am confident that my fellow Freepers know exactly why this shallow love affair is going on, but for those of you who have failed to notice, I'll share my musings.

Democrats know that with Obama's support dwindling, and Americans anger, frustration, and dissatisfaction brewing, they could jolly well lose the House, if you know what I mean. Enter strategy B: Push the Romney ticket. Liberals know that if Romney is nominated to run against Obama in the presidential election a large number of Conservatives will stay home. And Conservatives know, as well as liberals, that if it's Romney and Obama, we'll have to endure another four years of catastrophe. And if Romney should win, what's the difference?

Conservatives did not have a true Conservative candidate until Herman Cain announced his presidential bid. And with his support growing, liberals are now a bit concerned about what is unfolding in the Republican race.

I haven't seen as much calculated and vile ad hominem attacks and lies leveled against a Conservative politician since Sarah Palin stepped onto the public stage. The MSM and Democrats have much to fear in Herman Cain. Unlike Mitt Romney, Mr. Cain is no RINO.

In a nutshell, it's Democrats for Romney, Conservatives for Cain. It's that simple.

In a nutshell, it’s Democrats AND RINOS for Romney, Conservatives for Cain. It’s that simple.

It was like “The Mitt Romney Show” and the other candidates were his guests.

Yes, and Romney rarely allowed his guests to speak. It reminded me of those late night infomercials.

Is there a difference?

Yup, sure is. One runs the knife in your chest and the other runs it in your back.

Close. The other is a mental disease while the other is virus.

Yeah, they know that with Romney the health care issue will be nullified. They just say “Obamacare was patterned after your healthcare program Mitt.” It's just a way to get Obama elected again. All I can say is vote for anybody but Mitt

Has Palin announced her choice? If it’s Cain, wouldn’t that be a tremendous help?

They are scared to death of Herman Cain! They know they can’t throw out the race card!

Conservatives are winning, but I don't think we've begun to see what the Rats and Rinos are capable of.

It's going to take some fight and courage from us to hold the line and push forward.

This will be epic before it's over and done with.

“They know they can’t throw out the race card!”

They already have. Cain’s be described as an Oreo, among other things.

There is no bottom for these liberals.

If Romney is so horrible (and I agree that he is) and Cain is such a strong conservative, the anti-Romney, why did he strongly endorse Romney in 2008???

Has anyone experienced the new commercials on tv telling us how wonderful it is to be a mormon? ‘I do these great things, I am successful, I am good, and I am a mormon.’

What’s up with this? It has to be Romney promoting this sell of Mormonism, and how wonderful mormons are.

Note to Mitt: I don’t care about your religion. I care about your politics...If you are behind this campaign, then shame on you. How dare you.

Not to my knowledge, and her endorsement will help, but Conservatives will support Herman Cain regardless. We want a Conservative in the White House, not a Democrat in Republican clothing.
