...John McDonough, director of Harvard's Center for Public Health Leadership.
McDonough brings a unique perspective to the issue. He served as a top adviser on the national health care overhaul plan, and played a key role in advancing and implementing the Massachusetts law...

Halloran: If you were advising Romney, how would you suggest he defend the Massachusetts plan?
McDonough: I would urge him to say: "I am proud that the law I signed did what it was intended to do. It has lowered the number of uninsured in Massachusetts so much that no other state is our peer. Massachusetts proved that this national shame of the uninsured does not have to be, and we can fix it without breaking the bank."
He could say that, while there is a lot in the national plan that he doesn't support new taxes, the big hand of the federal government, the intrusion into state prerogatives there is a lot in the law that he does support and would not want to repeal.

why can’t we take the man on his word....he has stated that on the first day of his administration, he would repeal Obamacare....I’ll buy that
(is Romney for Obamacare?)
Not during the election, but watch out afterwards.
“why cant we take the man on his word...”
Really? You have to actually ask why we don’t take Romney at his word????
Really? Why would we believe anything he ever says???
Romney’s explained it correctly, for those willing to listen.
He said that his plan covered the uninsured - 8% of the population got RomneyCare because they had nothing else.
Obamacare covers EVERYBODY whether you want it or not. That’s basically the difference between Medicaid (Romney) and socialized medicine for all (Obama).
Right now our national health care law is led by a person who believes repeatedly raped, pregnant little girls should get abortions without authorities being notified-WHAT A CRIME!( And planned parenthood supports this wholeheartedly. Abortion milling is their money tree as it were-we pay the filthy bill.)
Maybe ol Mitt could address this issue. NOT! I think ol Mitt is in a jam, his architects helped design our national deathcare.
You cannot undo the health care law uhbama spit out via an executive order.
Although, apparently you CAN decide who has to pay for it and who doesn't. Since uhbama wavered many UNIONS from the health care expenses along with McDonald's, etc.
Kill the small business man and all that rot.
Mitt better get VERY SPECIFIC about what he will rip out of uhbama's health cesspool if he wants anyone to take him seriously.
