When we talk federal government assets, they are OUR assets. If they are put up for sale I just don’t trust crooked politicians to protect our assets. Instead they’ll protect their cronies at our expense. Absolutely! If there were some way to take it out of politicians hands (I don't see one forthcoming) We as tax payers have a lot of valuable assets that would be better off in productive private hands. If government tries to sell anything they would put so many restrictions on it that it would have no value to potential bidders. You can't mine it, you can't cut timber on it, you can't drill on it and don't so much as step on one of those protected species of piss ants etc.
