Here is a link to the National Review Online article Rush was referencing:
Ron Paul Dropping a Reality Bomb on the GOP Field.

Will be interesting to see if Paul gains momentum from these announcements and any coverage from the massive grassroots planned 'Black This Out' money bomb this Wednesday.

Limbaugh is not supporting RP. OF course a loon (RP) can have a good idea every now and then.

Rush is right. Paul's idea is better than anyone else's plan at this point, and I am not a Paul fan. But credit where credit is due.

I heard his commentary on RP. He outright laughed (derisively) when he said this idea was from RP, although he thought the idea was great.

Ron Paul - A rumor in his own time.

And a legend in his own mind.

Actually, any candidate that talks detail spending cuts, while campaigning; is a loon. Or at least self destuctive.

Run on a positive, general message. Be vague about cuts. Then after elected, be ruthless.

Winning is not possible for someone who comes off as the crazy uncle in the attic.

That said, I like this idea (broken clock syndrome). Too bad it won't deal with the good doctor's excessive earmarks.

and lie about everything you promised. That’s the definition of a real politician. The only politicians I trust are those that have been saying the same thing long before they run. The rest are just opportunists and “politicians” and by definition most are lying @#$%.

Paul is not really trying to be the next president, he is using the campaign to try to influence the direction of the country and the topics of debate. RP has too many weakness to be the Executive, but he is correct on the Fed and on government bloat. Cain would do well to hop on the cut deep, cut now bandwagon 9-9-9 without real cuts is just a kinder, gentler national death.

Ron Paul is indeed the crazy uncle in the attic.

He knows he won’t win, and never thought he would.

He is in this race to promote ideas; some crazy, some great, so I appreciate his contribution, I appreciate his supporters, but no, I would not vote for him. He could be nearly as big a disaster as Hussein.

Paul is a POS traitor that should be taken to GITMO and tortured to learn who funds him.

I’m not a Ron Paul supporter but does anyone think any of his supporters voted for McCain after his treatment at the GOP convention.

Just had to copy and paste that and reread it in Italics, just to make sure you wrote what I thought you wrote and by gollies, you did!

Now, pray tell, how did you get that Rush endorses Ron Paul out of that article?

Did you forgot the /sarc tag?

No need to go to any great lengths to find out who funds Ron Paul, just look around at your neighbors, fellow NRA members, etc. A number of people who post here donate to Ron Paul for two reasons - (1) since he has a few really good ideas worth spreading, and (2) just to annoy establishment politicians and other people who don't like the idea of less government.

So what do you think he did that is traitorous?

Rush is right, and Ron Paul.

but why does no one ever mention that the fed govt should put its millions of acres of land up for sale to the private market? i wish i would hear just one candidate or senator mention this... but never one.

When we talk federal government assets, they are OUR assets. If they are put up for sale I just don’t trust crooked politicians to protect our assets. Instead they’ll protect their cronies at our expense.
