that the citizens have the opportunity to advance of fail based on their merits.

So the gov't decides who passes or fails and they decide what merits are good or not? The opportunity to advance or fail at what? At a gov't job? What?

You appear to have a very strong class warfare problem.

Really. Where do you get that idea from? I'd like to know.

You claim I have a very strong cw problem and have no problem telling me that. Wonder why you now have a problem answering my question and explaining yourself finally.

Instead of dropping snide bombs and then ducking for cover. Something that could have very easily been explained in your original post when making a such a condensing remark like that. Is it that you have deep seated emotional issues that you are working through or something? Is this therapy for you?

I see that we are unable to have a constructive conversation. My apologies for beginning this and any remarks that may have been rude. That was not my intention. I won’t bother you again.

I want to see a Cain plan about reducing gov’t. Have you come across it?

On his website:

http://www.hermancain.com/the-issues

Reduce Government Spending

It is no secret that federal government spending is out of control. They view the American taxpayers as a bottomless piggybank for their wasteful programs and expansion of power. And we the people will not tolerate it any longer.

The massive debt caused by liberal policies will be passed onto our children and grandchildren if we do not stop it. They will be stuck with the tab for the government takeover of health care, industry bailouts and failed stimulus packages. They will be the ones approached with outstretched palms by the Chinese to pay back the billions upon billions we owe them. Each generation of Americans should seek to leave behind a better and more prosperous nation for the next, not saddle them with debt from reckless spending.

Though it might not be politically popular to modernize and eliminate some of our entitlement programs, responsible leaders should be willing to do it all the same. They must be prepared to make tough choices and learn to simply say “no.” This can only happen when our elected officials stop being politicians and start being leaders. Simply put: there is no “Department of Happy” in Washington, D.C.

Nothing should be off the table. Every federal agency, every government program and expenditure must be reviewed and revised with a keen eye and a red pen. Leaders should be willing to shrink budgets by target percentages, and those charged with implementing those changes must be held accountable.

And it works! I have served as an executive of several major corporations. When times were tough and money was tight, I asked our employees to cut back drastically, and explained why it was necessary, and they did. We have all had to make difficult decisions in our own household or at our work place. Serious but responsible belt tightening can save businesses, and it can also save our country with the right leadership.

What a moron. Can you not read a simple sentence? The government RIGHT NOW decides who passes and fails based on regulation and taxes lobbied by big corporation lobbyists. It’s called “crony capitalism” or simply socialism by those who don’t need a term of the week. To advance or fail in the marketplace based upon their ability to compete, not based upon how closely they are tied to the government. Now, I’m not going to respond to you anymore, you’re posts are too moronic to be real, you’re simply using the leftist tactic of misdirection. You don’t really care what the answer is, you want to push an agenda.

This last post of yours, as not a few others have done, marks you as a knucklehead at best and at worst a left-wing operative, the sort who have weaving their way in and out of here for years. And please do not say "Welcome to FR." I am a longtime lurker and poster and I am respectful but unafraid of "seniority." So: What is the point of your post except to mock Cain, WND, and the eligibility question all at once? Who would take such a wholesale swipe? Hmm? Mitt Romney?

So far, this is the best I have come across from "The Club For Growth".

I'm not sure about your characterization concerning Cain supporters, many of them are former Sarah Supporters such as myself.

And much as I did with Sarah, I'm not blind to the deficiencies of the candidate I'm supporting, however, I am sure of this, of all the candidates still standing, Cain is way out in front where conservatism is concerned.

You have showed you aren’t like the others. Thanks for the link. I am no way sold on Cain - not by a long shot. I’m not one that can be won by rhetoric alone and that’s what Cain is - all rhetoric. And when a politician only has rhetoric you better believe it will tickle the ears.

Go to a job in a different industry than you are in now and see if they will give you the top position in the company on what you say alone. Now that’s just one company among the hundreds of thousands we have. Here we are talking about one nation - and he wants to walk into it because he speaks the conservative lingo. Amazing. Some have already dusted off his desk and adored it with flowers.
