DNC chair: GOP 'hoping for failure' on economy
Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz claimed on Sunday that Republicans were hoping for failure on the economy so they could score a win against Democrats in 2012.
Republicans on Capitol Hill have vehemently opposed the entirety of President Barack Obamas jobs bill. House Republicans have said the legislation as a whole was dead on arrival, while all Senate Republicans have voted on a key procedural vote to block the jobs bill from moving forward.
Its so irresponsible for them to allow the economy to just remain stagnant, the Democratic congresswoman from Florida said of the GOP in an interview with CNNs Candy Crowley on State of the Union.

For a conservative, hoping socialism will fail is like hoping water will flow downstream. The laws of economics are like the laws of the natural universe.
For a socialist, there are no laws of economics. They don’t believe in the unseen force of economics. They believe in is the naked force of government. They are fundamentally marxist nihilists. They have looked into the abyss and fallen in love.
We don’t have to hope for what already is. It’s too late for 0bama and the democrats to turn it around in time for 2012.
whatdayamean “hoping”?
the ecomomy is a failure, and no 2012 predictions are otherwise.
If this isn’t a failed economy, according to the DNC Chair, one wonders what he thinks is.
Excuse me: “...wonders what she thinks is”.
The difference between hope and certainty.
Debbie there is not much left to hope for since the economy is already in the crapper.Nothing you and your ilk can do at this point to fix it before the next election day when I hope you are one of the seats that is replaced.
The GOP’s hopes and conservative hopes are that this idiot in Washington listens to common sense and does the things we are suggesting to get the economy OUT OF the toilet. How stupid can these lefties get?
The GOP and the American people don't need to "hope" (don'tch love how the Left LOVES to use that term) for Obama's economic failure: all they need to do is open their eyes and look at their families, their communities, their cities, their country... it is evident all around us and has been here since nearly the day Obama got inaugurated, and it will be here long after this evil, wicked, GODLESS man is removed from office.
