The GOP can’t win without the hispanic vote...known fact. Cain just lost the hispanic vote. Whether he meant this or not...he actually kissed the hispanic vote goodbye.
Cain would’ve been on shaky ground anyway, re Hispanics voting for him. Several reasons I won’t go into, that’s a whole, distinct issue.
But of course, it got worse with the electrified fence statement. But then, non Hispanics with common sense should not be cheering Cain on, although many will. In Texas, if you understand this particular border, you wouldn’t cheer him on no matter what ethnicity you are, because IT MAKES NO SENSE.
The Hispanics I know and talk to about this are AGAINST illegals, not for them. They are of my generation and agree with me. I get so tired of people on this forum who see an Hispanic and start thinking and screaming, “illegal”, or “illegal supporter”.
Soo.....only candidates that are weak on the border need apply. Or candidates that talk a good game but in the end do nothing, a la Bush.
THIS is a reason that I do not back Perry, I do not TRUST him. I believe that in his heart of hearts he is GWB part II.
He’s going to sound ok in the campaign but once he wins (IF he wins) it’s going to be “PRAISE HAY-ZOOS AND PASS THE TACO’S!”
