You've seen it. Lots of emotional euphoria over Cain's 999 tax plan around FR right now. Just not much objective analysis.

I miss the good ol' days when liberals were the emotional ones and conservatives were the rational ones.

All it takes to be the favorite FR candidate now is:

1.) Plenty of Red Meat sloganeering.
2.) Travel around the country hawking books.
3.) No attention whatsoever to the boring logistics of building a war chest to actually win the coming serious campaign.
4.) As long as the Red Meat sloganeering keeps coming, not even flat out support of Mitt Romney is noticed.

Herman Cain Only Has 'Several Hundred Thousand Dollars' In The Bank .... Compare that to Romney's $14 million or Perry's $18 million

Michael Steele to Herman Cain: Get Off the Book Tour

Herman Cain said Wednesday that he would be unable to support Rick Perry for president if the Texas governor were to eventually win the party's nomination. .... The former businessman said, for instance, that he could support former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney....

How much money has Cain raised in the last two weeks and how much does Romney have left out of 14 million?

Here's a dirty little secret.

Most of the posters on this thread who are hardcore Cain supporters, don't sound like conservatives to me. They sound like wackos.

You really think Ronald Reagan or even Sarah Palin would have talked about electrifying the Tex-Mex border fence. Boots on the ground and drones in the air, you betcha.

These nativists want landmines and machine guns.

Plenty of Red Meat sloganeering.

Absolutely correct - "Hope and Change" did it for this train wreck we have now.
