That is interesting, but I’m wondering why you no longer espouse anarchism. (Perhaps because it’ll never happen?) I love the idea of anarcho-capitalism, but I’m a bit too much of a pessimist to be hopeful.

Human nature argues against a society in which everyone can do what they want and still avoid coercion. I believe that force and fraud are inherent within us and that some system of government is needed to mitigate this, judge transgressions, and punish the guilty. Anarchism attempts to achieve those goals by basically shunning the bad folks. I don't think that is sufficient.

I want small government. I mostly want to be left alone. But I don't think that will magically happen by letting human nature be our guide.
