Karl Denninger was one of the founders of the Tea Party back just a few years ago when some concerned conservatives wanted to fire back at the government for what they said was unjust practices.
Today, similar sentiments are being echoed by the Occupy Wall Street movement.
Is it right to make comparisons between the two groups? Denninger says that, yes, to some degree the comparisons are indeed accurate. The Occupy movement, however, can learn from some of the mistakes that he says the Tea Party succumbed to.
“The problem with protests and the political process is that it is very easy, no matter how big the protests is, for the politicians to simply wait for the people to go home,” says Denninger. “Then they can ignore you.”

I like Denninger’s financial analyses. The commenters at Market Ticker were the bomb for awhile, sharp as tacks.
Then, Karl sucked me in during the oil spill Crime, Inc. production. He lives somewhere around Destin. I was suspicious of the timing and the SWAT teams and the sinking, but he “had me at” dead dolphins.
Well, I was flat out wrong and have apologized numerous times about that to the forum.
I’ve read him some since then, but, like Celente, the socialist, Denninger’s used up his welcome with me. Either one of those guys appears to like the sound of his own voice too much.

Yup, he was a birther, that's all I remembered about him. Birthers used to post his video as proof Hussein's birth certificate was fake. The guy is a nut.
He is only a tea-party founder in his own mind. After it started taking off, he wrote an article, almost mocking, saying that they should ‘mail teabags to DC’- that got him a lot of attention and he milked it.
After his 15 minutes of fame were up, he started trashing the tea-party every second he could claiming it was ‘hijacked by Republicans talking guns, gays and God’.
His ‘FedUpUSA’ is really just a outlet to sell his investment newsletters.
