An interesting analysis, regardless of ones persuasion, from someone at Red State.

In other news, Obama orders US troops into four African countries today and Republican congressional leaders applaud it..

I guess Ron Paul is great on domestic policy but just crazy on foreign policy /sarcasm.

So ... you favor a progressive-liberaltarian alliance - Paul/Nader/Kucinich?

LRon Paul Wants Kucinich in his Cabinet

Nader, who has recently called this progressive-liberaltarian coalition "the most exciting new political dynamic" in the US today …….. "I believe in coalitions," Rep. Paul echoed.

Running Ron Paul is a good way for O-Bozo to get re-elected. Don’t want him, period!

No, he won’t win. Buchanan even won New Hampshire in 1996, but they won’t win a whole primary.

Not if sanity prevails in the Republican electorate.

I think the bigger question is: if he doesn’t get it, will he go third party nomination?

I wish Ron Paul would go away.

He is the Rights version of a Dennis Kucinich.
His followers/sycophants are as much of an embarrassment to our side as Kucinich is to theirs.

Paul supporters would likely default back to Obama. Him running as a 3rd party candidate could be a blessing.

How stupid is Obama’s Nobel Peace Prize. Seriously. This world is so full of stupid I feel like I need a snorkel.

“I think the bigger question is: if he doesn’t get it, will he go third party nomination?”

If he does it’s probably over for us.
A lot of Paul loons out there.
Another Ross Perot?
Yea probably, a lot of “Yes sir, can i please have another” types out there.

Now if kucinich runs third party....

You aren't even kidding.

I am in the process of moving to Florida and had to rent a room in a house temporarily. The guy who lives here is a Ron Paul nutbag. I got to hear about how The New World Order killed JFK, Elvis, John Lennon, and Micheal Jackson. He sits in front of his computer during the Republican debates yelling about how Ron Paul is getting completely ignored. He supports the Occupy Wall Street protesters and hates all those "Corporate Bastards" ruining this country.

I pretend to not notice that he is living in his girlfriend's house for free and doesn't work at all.

Right now I’m supporting Cain though I’d be happy to support Ron Paul. I don’t agree with him on everything but the man is not given the credit he deserves. If he were a little better at how he talks about Defense issues he’d have no problem at all winning the nomination. Some seem to fear him but if it comes down to him versus Romney in a mano a mano then he’s my man and if Romney wins the nom God forbid and Paul runs third Party I’ll vote for and support him.

I’m not going to accept the false choices any longer. I don’t fear those like Paul who believe in limited government I fear those that clearly do not. The biggest thing I don’t like about him is his ready use of the word ‘Empire’ and false equivalency to us having bases in countries that invite us to have bases and the term ‘occupier’. However I don’t doubt for a moment that Ron Paul loves our military nor do I think he would make our country less safe with an “America Centric” foreign policy that rejects blank check militarism.

Wouldn’t it be grand to see him speaking before the UN or simply pulling out? Just imagine that and Ron Paul doesn’t seem half bad at all. :-)

I happenned on this recent video of Ron Paul speaking at the national press club. I caught it on TV one night and actually tuned in.
