Based on reports....it appears like the kid has severe burns in the groin area, and will require some salve medication for the rest of his life, while in prison. I doubt that he survives more than a year in prison before someone attacks him. Pretty lousy way to go....failed underwear scheme leading to prison where five hundred people want to kill you.
He planned to kill as many people as possible for his false god, to bring himself to “paradise.” There is mercy and compassion. Even so, He was incompetent, and if he pays in this manner for whatever remains of his life, that is far better than him having successfully committed mass murder.

Actually, I’d love to see him repent and convert. For the sake of his soul, and for the sake of any weak-willed criminals he might come into contact with.
Apparently this is another attempt to bring down an airplane by concealing a bomb in underwear. Although it is a bizzarre thought to be flying in coach naked while some naked stewardess lugs a beverage cart down the narrow aisle.
Very talented, but a stretch. I'd recommend working on those lyrics a little more. It might be worth it.
