'Give it a rest. Members of Congress vote on bills put before them and the GOP has been in the minority since '06. Stopping the Democrats where you can is hardly supporting more government.'

Sigh. Your have your facts wrong on the GOP minority and stopping the Democrats has led to more Gov't. As you say, at least educate your own self.

Gee, that was a fact-free post. Watch the Emmanuel Kelly video on youtube and feel better.

Pretty clever of Cain...Put out names...Are they supposed to jump in Cain’s corner? Said it before and IMHO...Cain is just a spoiler.

From one of my favorite bloggers:

Rhymes With Sane

Posted on October 13, 2011 by Cripes Suzette

Don’t know much about Rick Perry but based on the potential of “ADIOS MOFO” as the official campaign slogan, I’d vote for him.

Based on the increase in Cafe Press items, it looks like Herman Cain is taking over. I’d vote for him, too but it would be much harder to settle on just one slogan.

A sampling:

•YES WE CAIN
•Cain vs. Not Able
•Let’s Beat Obama With A Cain*
•The Herminator
•Raising Cain
•Rock You Like A Herman Cain
•Cain You Dig It**
•Honkies for Herman***
•Mrs. Cain Wears Hosiery****
•No Cain No Gain
•Herman Cain Barry Cain’t

*My personal favorite at the moment

** For wasists only

*** I’d wear it but I’d change it to Hunkies For Herman

**** I made that one up but that would be a vote well spent.

'GOP has been in the minority since '06.'

They became a minority in 07. Better? Enough of this tic for tac. Have a good day, and 'we' will all support someone to beat Obama. FRegards.

Bump to both your post and your tagline; I agree on both points!

Yes, but the election was in ‘06. So who’s doing “tic for tac”? I think you mean Tit For Tat, but I still love you.

I’d rather have DeMint as President.

He “worked well with others” when he was President of the National Restaurant Association. There was an article with many comments on how he is extremely persuasive, and could get coalitions built.

You really know naught of what you speak.

That's right. Election 06 = New Congress Jan 07.

So they were in power in 06.

>>We don’t know anything about Cain really

Yeah, forget years of op-eds and conservative talk radio. Not to mention a lifetime of integrity and achievement.

Want to try that again? Who are you supporting, by the way? I’m guessing Perry by your username.

He is projecting the mindset that he WILL be the nominee.

He's projecting the image of a short, fat guy with a bad toupee who thinks he looks like Tom Cruise. It'd be funny if it weren't so sad.

I respectfully disagree when it comes to Ryan. He talks a good game. But, his voting is typical liberal in nature and for Gov’t, ie TARP, Auto bailout, No Child left behind, Bush budgets, Medicare plan D.

Good points all. You could also add that he supported Ethanol subsidies. A true conservative would NEVER have supported such a wide range of statist positions.

Ryan is above all a technocrat. He does not have the belief of limited government in his DNA.

Don't get me wrong, I am glad he is on our side, but there is no way to consider him a "deep" conservative.

There’s a saying about “what goes up must come down”. Cain hasn’t been vetted and we know very little of his past. If he becomes the leader of the pack then he’ll get the attention of the others from many differing corners.
