Geez, what a hero.
Try me!
I plan to live up to my idea of heroism -- and that is to be brave, to follow John Wayne's saying that "Courage is being afraid but saddling up anyway" -- and to take a desperate chance because these are desperate times.
If Romney is the GOP presidential nominee, my vote will go elsewhere; I have given it a LOT of thought over the past five years. Mine is not a knee-jerk emotional response. It's a carefully thought-out decision.
The way I see it, you are afraid not to vote for the Republican. I am, too -- but after too many decades (better late than never), I have finally figured out that a statist is a statist and just as damaging to the Republic if he's a Republican than if he's a Democrat. In fact, he's more damaging to liberty if he's a Republican because he poisons the Republican well, whereas the Democrat statist keeps the Republican well fresh.
In my opinion, the faint-hearted are going to be the ones who vote for Romney. If they win, that "victory" will be everything a coward's victory always is.
Listen. When Marco Rubio was first sworn in, everyone was ecstatic. Oh boy. Young, Hispanic. good looking. Conservative. oh yeah. And I said watch out because mccain grabbed him by the hand and took him ‘under his wing’ and guess whose team made sure the FLA primary was moved up so romney could win!
Guess who was ‘chosen’ to visit the ‘rebels’ in Libya with juan?
Unless we forge NEW party from the rubble of the old, this is how it STAYS. Perry ain’t it. He’s a good old boy and he will do what has always been done. Which is exactly what we DON’T need.
mccain and his ilk MUST be gone or they will subvert anyone they percieve is popular with conservatives.
The left AND the establishment gop came together to rip Sarah Palin and her family to shreds.
To me, that means that we no longer have a choice. WE go rogue. Because if we DON’T we will not live to fight another day.
