Prayers for your wife and her friends at her Salon. Such a horrible thing to go through.
Unfortunately, murderous rage tends to be indiscriminate once the shooting starts. that’s why it makes no sense to carry only when going to “bad nieghborhoods”, etc.
Seal Beach really is the last place you’d expect this. It’s so quaint.
A lot of Open Carry proponents frequent Main St. on weekends, openly carrying. Wish one of them were around today.

A woman who knows the ex-wife was on KCAL 9 and she said this guy is ex-military and was bi-polar..now there are 8 dead as two out of the 3 who were critical have died..its so sad..apparently the ex-wife had been told by this guy that he would do something like this and did not heed his warning

Sadly I heard that he has tried suicide before. Why couldn’t he have just gone through with that, and let everyone live? This was about a custody battle and now his little boy has no mommy or daddy.
I just don’t understand why he had to kill so many people. Usually what happens in these cases is that the ex comes in, shoots the ex wife, and kills himself..usually doesn’t happen like this..he went into the parking lot and killed some innocent guy sitting in his car..what the hell did that guy ever do to him, or the woman sitting getting her hair shampooed..such a horrible tragedy that could have been prevented. Everyone pretty much knew this guy was a loose cannon, they interviewed some of Michelle’s(That’s the ex wife) friends who said the second they heard there was a shooting at the Salon they knew it was the ex husband, so everyone else knew but couldn’t stop this from happening..its tragic all the way around..the Salon owner was killed, from what I Hear he was a wonderful man..its just so sad
That is a REAL spooky photo of him. He looks so, so, well... normal! And after shooting up the whole place and blood and guts over everything. Looks like some guy waiting for the bus.
Keep your head up and alert. Although I imagine the threat was more obvious with a gun in his hand.
I live about 5 miles from this place. This is getting a little too close for comfort. My son & I have eaten at the McDonalds on that parking lot where the salon is.
