I was deployed to Uzbekistan as earlier noted. They seemed OK and are mostly secular muslims only. The Uzbek gals I got to know were not only good lookin but had no use for Islam and dressed any way they liked in the hot weather.
Their prez Karimov is a tyrant but the Uzbek people tend to look westward and darn sure don’t want to wind up like Afghanistan.
Don’t nuke ‘em, send ‘em here to learn English and business admin. Yeah, there’s an IMU but it’s mostly Uzbeks who have lived in Afghan territory for generations. The city Uzbeks of Tashkent and Samarqand aren’t radicalized not yet anyway. Wanna impress an Uzbek? If you’re invited to an Uzbek’s house for dinner, bring a bottle of vodka.

I’ve never known any uzbeks. But I knew a couple tajik girls that were absolutely GORGEOUS. I thought they looked greek.
