Cain says he's ready for questions about "Ubeki-beki-beki-beki-stan-stan"

In a novel attempt at lowering expectations, Republican candidate Herman Cain told an interviewer recently that he plans to simply answer "I don't know" if he is asked "gotcha" questions by reporters covering his campaign for president. "I'm ready for the 'gotcha' questions and they're already starting to come," Cain said. "And when they ask me who is the president of Ubeki-beki-beki-beki-stan-stan, I'm going to say you know, I don't know. Do you know?"

Cain replied, "I'm ready for the 'gotcha' questions and they're already starting to come. And when they ask me, 'Who is the president of Ubeki-beki-beki-beki-stan-stan?' I'm going to say you know, 'I don't know. Do you know?' And then I'm going to say, 'How's that going to create one job?' I want to focus on the top priorities of this country. That's what leaders do.

Cain gets it. Being President isn’t about being a Jeopardy! winner.

When I ran corporations, I did not know the names of all our suppliers and customers. I paid people to do that. My job was to run the company, not manage all the details.

I would like Mr. Cain to manage the job of POTUS. He has a budget to hire a lot of people to tell him the president of the day in Whogivesafistan.

I'd rather see some good humor in the debate where appropriate as opposed to Perry and Romney going after each other like street dogs and not addressing the issues.

Herman Cain and Newt Gingrich have been the only two candidates that looked Presidential to me. Each has answered the mods questions without back stabbing another candidate.

It's going to be an interesting debate tomorrow nite.

I think Perry nor Romney want to attack Cain because they are both looking at him as a VP Candidate.

However, I think Cain is looking at the Presidency and not a VP slot - I think he'd like Newt on his ticket for VP.

BTW - I did check and a Newt's residency is in McLean, VA so there should not be a conflict with Cain's state residency of Georgia! Took a page out of Hillary's play book!

My dream ticket Cain/Gingrich

You CAN’T be serious! If Herman Cain wastes his time “boning up” on unimportant drivel sucn as who is president of uzbekistan, then he’s NOT ready for prime time. You voted for Obama, riiiiight?

Thanks.

Just finished watching him on Hannity. Can’t wait until he wins the primary so we can watch him eat Zero’s lunch in the debates.

He has got to start getting serious about this. The more flippant he acts, the more doubts many people will have about whether he's really ready for the job.

“Oh dear, now Cain detractors have a new talking point:
“He thinks there is a Ubeki-beki-beki-beki-stan-stan!!”

It’s OBVIOUS that Cain is an IDIOT, if he doesn’t know who the president of Ubeki-beki-beki-beki-stan-stan. He has no business running and his campaign is about to collapse. So it’s going to be between Perry and Romney, and hopefully those former Cain supporters will have enough sense to line up for Perry.

(my imitation of a Perry-bot, LOL)

“Anyway, Herman Cain probably knows more about Central Asian nations than the Anointed One. Heck he came close with the name.”

He also understands Islam, which is CRITICAL to understanding what’s going in that part of the world. I have worries regarding Cain and foreign policy...in fact, he’ll likely run circles around Clinton, Bush-43, and Obama, again, simply because he understands the underlying problems.

>> “He needs to know some of this stuff.” <<

.
Why?

We have so many 2008 - 2011 noobs coming here to tell us crap that makes no sense at all.

We need a president that can fix what is wrong with the US, not some Islamo-terrorist postage stamp state 50 miles from Outer Slobbovia.

He needs to know how to undo 100 years of Big Gov establishment crappola.
