As much as I enjoy Dr. Sowell's articles, I've always disliked the term "reverse racism". To me, regardless of the color of the players involved, racism is racism, period.

I prefer the term “Perverse-Racism” as it is a perverted form of racism that looks on the surface to not be that bad, but it demoralizes people more unknowingly that regular racism.

Sowell is smart to point out that in the Obama Administration Eric Holder is the Head of the

Absolutely. The term “reverse racism” is absurd.

Glad I read the coments first. Bingo! Racism is racism. No such thing as reverse racism but I understand what the guy means. Heard he's real smart too. Well he messed up on the title but I agree with him.

It’s a real shame that a man with so much intelligence and common sense would stoop to using a term such as “reverse racism.” You must be profoundly disappointed.

I’ve coined the term “State Sanctioned Racism” — hope it catches on.
What people don’t realize is that policies like Affirmative Action are state sanctioned racism, which is worse than arbitrary/voluntary racism by individuals because there is an element of fascism in it (e.g. the gov’t forces it on people).
